??? on Changing Interior Trim other than Painting

I've seen Zion's stuff and it looks good. But I'm wondering if there are any alternatives to painting  out trim that will allow you to change colors of interior pieces that are already wood.  

The VIP Magazine with the huge DIY section seemed to demo some products that looked like water transfer or something similar but I can't seem to find a US supplier with similar products.  I know about ALSA and a couple of other companies but , they seemed a little to faux to me and not as realistic looking as some of the finishes you see in the JDM mags.  

I really want to do this myself on my time and gameplan all of the changes I'd like to make.   Pretty much I just want to change my existing wood trim to another color of wood, something natural looking but different from every other Y33 out there. I may eventually do some additional pieces like the Oh **** handles and rear view mirrors but right now just wanna change up the basics.  Anyone have any ideas on where i could source the materials to do this.

i am not sure how to diy. [URL]http://www.exoticwooddash.com/[/URL] is where i was referred by b&i trim (the company who actually does it). i'm not sure about changing the color over factory wood because the wood print is translucent. when i was planning on changing color i was going to have to buy black trim pieces. now i am just gonna add a few pieces. theres also an issue with texture, but if you don't care it will work. i will only be doing smooth pieces. when talking to b&i they said that the clear coating will smooth it out some.

do a search for hydroprinting..you will find many companies that can do this for you..it does cost a pretty penny though...good luck!

the quote i got was a less than a dollar per square inch, but it did have a $200 minimum. it would depend on how all out you were going. rich's interior would cost about $1,000,000. lol.
