hmm. my 19*9 +23 standard disk have 3" lip to them. strange.

nice wheels. the only thing I don't like about our wheels is that the face sticks out almost an inch, so it takes away from the lip.

Yeah that's exactly what makes the lip appear to be smaller than it is.

that's what I felt when I got my D3s. So I sold mine. They are still one of my faves though. Very nice choice and they will definitely look good on a GS.:biggthumpup:

it looks like you got "high disk" for the front, do you have big calipers ?

That's more to EXE styling kinda lips... Very subtle. If you're going for those Aimgains or ModeParfumes, shud look tight.

Nice wheels like all have said but yea Wish more lip was there ... good choice in offsets though, but should be a great choice on the gs

I was told I had to run that type disk to clear my "STOCK" brakes, and if I wanted the same disk as the back wheels for the front I had to use spacers up front.

or run 8s with a lower offset

They dont IIRC. You can fit Work O disk in the front.

Look, if you have to run big brakes, go an inch less wide, with a lower ofset

no excuse for not having lip when its avaliable
if whoever you bought them from didnt suggest that, i haev no clue why.

Anwyays, panycocks, yoru right, i am glad i didnt get them about a year ago ( not like i woudl have kept them lol) THey are turning up everywhere, at least Kranze LXZ are sitll rare

Hell, damn near every wheel that isn't sold at Pepboys are rare around here. The most "baller" wheels I've seen in NYC so far were Lowenharts, and I wouldn't doubt if they were knockoffs.

shit shoulda asked me if they can fit. i had O-disk on my DH all around when i had my GS. had about 1-2 mm space from the caliper

Personally I think 5" lips and that whole tidbit is a little extreme, I like the way your wheels look.

Plus it doesn't hurt that those wheels are one of my faves congrats.

After watchin the new VIPcar DVD w/ the crazy JGH50 w/ WORK DS3s, I change my mind from not liking them to thinkin they're nice when the have BIG LIPS like Jay-Z! (I.E. 10/11 set-ups) IMO!

the d3s is very popular in Japan, I hear the Varianza line price has gone up or is going up very soon due to high demand.
