Different Car security methods

Hey i em getting ready to start hooking my car up with some security features....and im looking into as many things as i can find so this is the list i came up with that i think will be fool proof.
 
-2 seperate wheel locks
-ignition kill switch
-2 way alarm system
-hub steering wheel quick realease
-fuel cut off
-brake foot lock
 
 
i cant think of anything else to be on the car any other pointers anyone? and i was also wondering if you do a ignition kill switch will the alarm still work?

This might not help you right now but might in the future.
 
I slam my car and lock the switch box.  Even if the car is running with the key in the ignition, you cant move it.

what do you mean lock the switch box? so you have a box with all the switches in it? i was thinking about the tree lock also.

Yea, I have the same switch box as the universal guys.  It comes with a round key and once you lock it, you cant control the switch box.  My fenders sit on the tires when slammed so you cant move the car when its down that low.

the 2 major thing that gets a car running is spark (ignition) and fuel. one without the other, nothing... my friend works at a car audio shop and they install cutoff switches to the fuel pump. you can either run a relay and a switch for the power side of the fuel pump or just a on/off switch if you connect it to the ground side...they usually hide the switch right under the shifter boot, last place anyone would look imo... same principle with the ignition, relay and switch to the power side...

on my truck i have a switch box with a 15 ft cord. at the end where it tucks under the dash i got a 9 prong male/female connector. so whenever i leave my truck i unplug the whole switch box and cord, coil it up and take it with me, or hide it...

you can also do a push start button directly to the starter. 

id rather have whatever stolen out of my car rather than the whole car stolen itself...

GPS tracking / alarm systems are pretty cheap these days.  one of my cars has real time tracking. you can follow them home and introduce them to the police....or/and a baseball bat.....in that order:smiley: 
 
Also, go for a true GPS system.  Lojack uses cell towers that have dead spots.  I used to have it when they came to seattle a few years ago:sad: 
 
no alarm or method is foolproof. If a thief wants your car bad enough...they'll get it. 
 
just pay ins. and get a decent system and a good nights sleep.:smiley:  nothing worse than sitting up nights wondering if your car will be there in the mornin

Another plus point would be, those low life can't nick ur wheels! There's no way to slip a jack in...And can't even tow it! LOL

Once I got air, I was actually able to sleep at night because of that.  Still cant stop people from keying cars though :signdammit:

Make sure em pitbull's potty trained. U don't want dog pee stains on your expensive deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep dish wheels. Em stains will be hard to clean on the cracks between the face and the lips rofl rofl rofl

If you got airs and locks like widebodyQ, you really don't have to worry about nick wheels and missing rides when u wake up in the morning (provided you've got urself a decent alarms with shock sensors).

I'd be more worried about those accessories hanging out in the exterior! I'm amazed that widebodyQ's Cima emblem is still on his hood, judging from the stories I heard abt NY

no alarm system can prevent a thief from taken your car!!
