question about Air hose pressure fittings.

OK, this was my first air suspension install and kinda did what felt right to me.....which could be wrong :pat: 
 
  Ive seen everyone have their sraight fittings facing the ground and not using the rotating 90 degree versions. 
 
Are the rotating fittings prone to failure or sumthin?  
 
I kinda figured it would be less stress on the airhose to run it sideways and not bending every time the car goes up n down??????????

i got straight
and i dont have the patience to wait
id rather have rotating 90s on teh front of my car, and im goign ot try adn find something that will work tomorrow morning.

it makes it easier to route the lines as well. Im so paranoid of the car losing air on the freeway or sumthin :sad: 
I may have 3 brass 90*, 1/2" fittings if u cant find them there. I installed them but swapped them out for nickle plated ones....with 'Emerald green' plastic. :pat:  :shrug:

I have the 90* elbows, and they work great...plus they swivel.

they also have 90 elbows taht dont swivel or will it not be able to clear for install? it all depends on the brand and what type of fitting it is.  i like compression over push in, especially plastic push in's, do not use those.

What i dont get is why every aftermarket kit has the air fitting on the (bottom) moving part of the suspension

All OEM air struts have the airfitting on the top where it doesnt move with every bump
 
Is there a reason for that?
