i would be worried about insurance. maybe things are different where you are, but pumping vip money into a build and then not being able to insure it would be lame. i didn't even notice the rear was hit too. hope you know what you're doing. gl.

Wow! Big project if you're gonna have to weld in some quarters!
I'm impressed by the bodymen who can pull shit like that off.

Good luck!

what's a dismanter?

Doesn't look to bad, more or less welding and replacement body parts but what about the frame?

dawg, why spend all that money to fix up a salvaged car, frame work, body work, etc, when you can buy a good condition q from like 7000-13000 depending on mileage

^ True, but its value is DEEPLY discounted even with major mods etc. Insurance will be an issue too. My girl does insurance for a living and I just had my s14.5 stolen so I know how little a bad title is now worth. Not worth my time, $$, or efforts, but maybe for you.

As for a project and the fun factor....Good Luck, could be a great project.

Haha that would have been priceless! Just take out the dampers and springs for maximum drop!

Seriously though, I'm with this guy - I'm really impressed by builds like these. I'd get a kick out of it even it you were just making it stock. Not that you should:dance:
