Wheel size for an xA?

I have 2 wheels options.....what should I do?

1. Works Dh black face 17x8.5 +25f and +20r brand new.
2. Sportmax 504's 18x8 +32 Silver face brand new

Yes I know I should go for the Dh's but what's holding me back is the 17?

I really wanted a bigger wheel....

I was going to say 16", so go figure.

Definitely the DH

a) it's way more aggressive
b) it's not garbage

xAs aren't much bigger than a Honda Fit are they? 17s should fill up the wheel wells very nicely with a proper drop.
Fabulous has 18s on their demo iST, but to me that's the equivalent of 20s on a Y32; it's 'the big size look'

i wouldn't even consider the sportmax. i was with firelizard, i don't know a lot about k-cars but what i have seen they seem to go smaller.

Word. Get the Eurolines, sportmax are pretty lame.

My only concern is the stance .... i currently on tein coilovers...so i think it would sit flush??

Better than the Sportmax.
Fabulous has way more aggressive wheels than that, so you should be fine.

Thats what i meant....I know I could of gone up to 18 or 19 and up to a 9.5 on the rear...but you see the Dh's are 17x8.5 all around...so my concern is that the wheel might look to small.

xA's are not KCars!!!!!!!!

you keep saying that but it sure does look like one. i'm not saying i'm right, but those would be the styling cues i followed.

and anouther on 17s in Hawaii.. this car was before the other XA.. this body kit was put onto the other XA.. so there not the same car.. this one was repainted straight black..

i realyl ike the look of booth but the question is do you have a lip kit or body kit... that is what really give the XA its stance..

IF i had an XA and didnt have a kit i stil would go with the works.. sport max never.. dont know myabe becuase of the brand. but here is a pic of anouther car in Hawaii.. its a limitd ed with the kenstyle lip and gold line drop

I dont have a kit....and i see the 504's dont look good at all on the xa....so DH's for sure.

I honestly don't think they'd look small. I have super weak-sized 17s on my car, which has comparable dimensions to an xA, if not a bit longer, and they look  healthy sized, even with a mediocre drop. 8.5" +25 and +20 is pretty aggressive for a little FWD car, and even though others have gone wider and deeper, I don't think it will look sunk. But, even if it happens to: spacers.

He's right, the xA is a compact, because kei isn't actually a style, it's a set of criteria, regarding engine displacement, and vehicle dimension.

yeah i checked some out and those k-car things are tiny. for what its worth i think the 18s look much better. have you checked out the ssr vienna dish 2 or the fabulous profound. similar looks to the works and you might be able to get some love on the sizes. what exactly is holding you back? pcd or whats easily available?

I'm glad you came to a conclusion at least on which brand not to buy...I too think the 17's would look nice crank the Teins down and do it...

I didnt win anytihng.. but the SE club took home best team... Asked teh judge to set me in VIP class and they didnt let me in.. guess there scared of a scion beating all those VIP platforums.. lol.. nah got some lame thing as VIP is for BMW, Lambrogines, Benz.. but come to find out they didnt even give out an award for VIP... 
 
My car isnt set to win in Scion Class like my last car.. its more of a clean build VIP style.. No big fiberglass systems.. I more of set the car up to compete in like a VIP wagon Class or VIP style class..

Yeah its hard to be able to enter the VIP class since all the judges want is to HIGH end vehicles..

Question: Do you have the width and offsets on those silver DH's? Also does he has any spacers or camber shims?
