Hello, a LOWMAX from Connecticut
Hi, this site is pretty cool so far! My name is Aaron and this is my first post on here. I have been interested in Bippu cars and my 1998 Maxima is the lowest Maxima in New England. I would like to make my Maxima as VIP as possible. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Yea, I'm prepared to contribute useful information (if I can) and keep the sarcasm at a minimum. I know the people over here are not as ignorant as the many from maxima.org.
I can't wait to check out the A32 threads. I am looking at some 35mm offset wheels, but I want to tuck big time.

the tuck thing isn't as popular over here as the super flush look. unfortunately for us, we have no rear camber so you pretty much have to tuck, not go as low, or run smaller wheels (i'm still not 100% on what i'm gonna do). i have some wheels you might be interested in.

Nice car, I'm loving the ride height.
I'm also a fan of the TSW Vortex.
Hopefully you enjoy yourself here, welcome!

I sold my TSW Vortexs a couple months ago. I am looking for a wheel with a lip for a descent price. I wish there was a way to easy change the camber in the rear of the A32.
How would a 18" x 8.5" 35mm offset with a lip fit on the Maxima?

8.5" + 35mm will be flush in the front, for the rear you need something in the 20-25mm range or spacers.

Oh I thought the rear would be a problem. My TSWs were 8" wide and had a 40mm offset with 245 series tires. I could just about tuck with them without the fender chewing up my tire. I am trying to find some pictures of a 8.5", 35mm offset on a Maxima. I was thinking of putting 225 on them...

theres a thread on the .org i started about that size up front, might be some rear shots mixed in.

its not an everyday problem (like k-sports blowing is), its that he has his EXTREMELY low (3.5" i belive) causing harsh angles. the axles will be custom but i plan on having a few sets made.

The CV boots are thicker/stronger, but that's about it. The CV joints are not any stronger. They make just as much noise as any auto part store axle for half the price when your low.
