Hey VSC I just bought some JDM Y33 kouki non-hid headlights. I was wondering how do you wire up the headlights because I own a 97 Q45 and it doesn't look like a plug and play. Thanks
if you can shoot me a pic of what the rear of your housing vrs the rear oth the new lights i can some what assist but i do not know wire colors and such but the gist from what i can guess at is simple chop your plug off figure out hi and low 12v figure out ground take the stock ground and the low beam 12v attach them to the plug wires that ohm out to the low beam socket (polarity does not matter) take the 12v high beam and a piece of 14ga wire and attach it to the plug wires that ohm to the high beam socket. again polarity is not an issue. ground the other end of that 14ga wire repeat for the other side joe
it is plug and play, except for the high beams. you have to tap into the harness. it doesnt look like it but it actually works. take a look at the prongs and match it up to the harness.i forgot which one, but one plu looks smaller than the other, but once you get it aligned they will not detach from each other.

if i recall the lamp in your car is the high and low beam in one it should be a 9003 plug it back into the car and guessing that the black wire in your 4th pic is ground determine your high beam 12v and low beam 12 volt..... then match it up to your plug on your car harness side. that was the easy part. now what you have on the new housing the black and red wires should be the the high beam the other plug if i guess right should also only have 2 wires (someone with non hid will need to chime in here b/c im unsure) so ill leave it at that see if someone can help out. and you do know that you will be blinding everyone on oncomming traffic with the jdm lights right?
