being flush and tucked is hard !

I test fitted my brothers wheels today ...

18x10 -5 on his rear to my rear ..... and in order to have those work I will need to grind down the fender and take out the prerolled lip out ... + pull ALOT ! 15-20 at least .... + I just got my new paint job ?? Sheet

Over all It is hanging out of the car about 2.5 inches ...

  usually with the rims I have 265/30/19 19x10 with +43 offset when My psi is at 25 i am cambered and dumbed on the ground ... 

With the car at 87 psi its the lowest I can go with a 235 tire on the wheel 
( 18 ) No where near flush or cambered ... just test fitting


Might need a 225 for the rear to get Nice and snug on a 10 inch wheel.. for the rear but talk about a bad ride ;(

I was really looking forward to having spacers on the car but its 31 mm to have it flush just for the rear ... [IMG]http://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif[/IMG][IMG]http://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif[/IMG] No way for these wheels ... 


I did the math and spoke with some of the vendors from another thread and it looked like the 19x9 with -2 front would fit perfectly ..for the front with Jp fenders.. maybe with the 5mm spacer might throw things off though ... 


I might just leave these for now until I see a pair of wheels like antbos old wheels with same offset

+ having to add bumps stops to Not dump all the way ...

Currently sunken as a ship, The upside is I can turn the wheel fully  and Not touch tire at all on fender..

Drift cars spits, VIPcar swallows... Sorry, I was meaning the other way round.

being extremely flush and low is not all that great on coilovers. at least you have air right? and yeah, you should just order some new wheels. what about your next project?

Use skinnier tires!

This is exactly why I built my car around the wheels.

I used spacers behind the old 20" set to get the fenders
stretched & cut and then I duplicated the effective offsets
on the new wheels after the car was painted.

If you're painting a car anyway, it never hurts to cut the
fender lips or roll the fenders FIRST so you have more 
fitment options later. I did this on the AE86 and the MR2
and more recently the GS4. 

Lesson learned? Good luck!
