Just messing around.

Looks HOT, my local tint shop has 5 different green tints, everything from very light to dark green, they also have "rayban" tint, same color as the glass in the rayban shades.

I`m REALLY feeling the green tint on black cars, but I`m not sure If I dare to remove the "play it safe limo black" and get the green tint instead, If I do I`ll be the only one in this country with it, hehehe. Norway tend to stay 10years behind when it comes to "what`s coo and what`s not.:pat: "

None of the pics have done the tint any justice...

i saw at one point, maybe 3 or 4 years ago, a car with smoke tint with a greenish silver reflection...I only knew it as "skyscraper tint" due to the color being similar to building in the immediate area.

it was closer to smoke tint, but had more reflectivity than the pics you guys are posting.
Forum image

Something like the front window of that car but just a bit less reflective... I'd like to locate ^that tint.

I've had a hard time trying to find it. People call it Titanium, or something else i can't remember. but i've not been able to locate it. it wasn't super reflective, but it was reflective enough.

EDIT:

I think i located it, but it's not "green" may have been the car's windows, i dont know

here it is, but i'm unable to find the maker...

I think you will find it is quite literally skyscraper tint! They make lots of these reflective tints for buildings and house windows, supposed to be quite thick material that is hard to put on curved windows, but i had my old accord done with a blue reflective tint like that:

Pimprascal...does the tint have visible greenish reflection during the day? or is it black mostly, like the pics earlier...

It all depends on the lighting. Sometimes the tint is green, dark green or reflective.

WERD. GOT the same tint as pmprascal via zion_97. however mine doesn't reflect like how pimp's does...guess it must be the lighting. here's a couple of crappy cam phone pics:
It all depends on the lighting. Sometimes the tint is green, dark green or reflective.
WERD. GOT the same tint as pmprascal via zion_97. however mine doesn't reflect like how pimp's does...guess it must be the lighting. here's a couple of crappy cam phone pics:

its really hard to tell...but during the day it looks green...at night it looks sorta like regular tint...but not as dark as my old charcoal tint. tint shop messed it up though. gots bubbles and debris everywhere. oh well.

yup...tan interior. nawh, i don't regret getting the 35%. i wanted a darker green. if u want a more obvious green, den i guess u should go w/ the 60%. i jus thought it was a bit more reflective.

Man looks good..I like the first shot you can really see the color well..Yeah as it gets darker into the night the color is not as noticable..I allways try to snap pics at angles that there is a lighting source behind the vehicle other wise the tint looks darker.

Yeah asked for the solid tint. As thats what most folks use in Japan...most of them run the lighter green %60 and the others run darker green tint.

I like the reflection but I think that without the reflection when taking pics you can see the interior more and it does not cathch so much of the flash.

see how this tint makes it hard to see the inside..Non reflective you would be able to see right through...Thats my opinion though..both asthecially look awsome..I guess its personal preference..

I am going to put the %60 Blue none reflective on my LX470 when I get a chance...The only thing I am concerend about is that my vehicles as brown tinted glass...

Green tint is crazy becuase it looks lighter and darker at different angles..Keep in mind I have WHite curtains..and that shows the color alot better than with folks with black curtains. I dont know how many of you think about it but I think thats why you can really see the color of the tint in lots of the pics becuase of the white curtains. IF they were black deff would make the tint darker..

The color of the tint also has to do with how much light is coming into the car and what color background is behind the car..Take a picture were your car is in front of a white building and then take a pic of your car infront of a darker building..you will get different results...in this next pix it looks like I dont even have tint due to the lighting color and night time..

BUT you still see the white curtains..once again it gives a brighter background in all lighting sources...

For those of you that have black interior..black curtains and want the color to show more I would suggest %60 green..but if you want a darker color becuase you think its to hot where you live I would go with %35 green. Keep in mind that if you have black curtains as well the color will appear darker no matter what especially with black interior becuase like mentioned above, the back ground color.

Pimprascle has the exact same tint as me and in some of his pics it looks limo and in some it looks like a deep green( I actually love those shots and color).

Hope this helps some of you guys when making decisions.

YEAH, but i don't have much of an interior to show off anyways. :) plus...i'd rather have thieves not able to look into my car also. but yeah, its about personal preference... i mean i didn't want it super reflective, only slightly. overall, i like it. jus wish i went to a more professional installer.
