Which tire size for my 93 LS400? Pics?

I just bought a 93 LS400.  I'm going to be driving it around for show as well as commuting to work and back.   I've decided on 19's    9" fronts and 9.5 rears.  I have chosen 275/35R19 for the rears, and 245/40R19 for the fronts.  I know its a bit higher profile compared to the ones i've seen
here on this forum but i want a softer ride and having alot of pot holes here in SD, i'm afraid my rims won't last long. Also i like to see beefier tires.  I've oredered the wheels and tires.....
Does anyone have these tires on their LS400? please post pics :biggthumpup:

ANd drive DAILY to work and where ever in daygo!
I know what you mean about the pot holes, I deal w/ them everyday!

But I jus pay attention to the road/route in front of me and avoid certain lanes, man hole covers, & dips! Also watch the car infront of you, that's usally a good way to tell where big dips, pot holes & bumps are!
 
I say if you can get beefy tires to fit w/o rubbing issues than go for it!  :biggthumpup:

our roads in SD arent that bad...id say run 235/35 and 245/35 you'll be fine...and just swerve if you see a pot hole!

Driving a trunk for years i really never thought about pot holes, i just drive over them.  I thought i'd never buy a car but after driving a 93 LS400 which i bought for $1600 i was hooked.  Love the smooth ride! Its going to be my VIP project.   With a budget crisis and city pension going under they are slow to respond to fixing pot holes.  I hate slowing down. hehehe! Love the power of the V8 and the fuel economy of a V6.  I went with a 40 offset. seems like theres plenty of room for the wide tires. Cross my fingers.

you got it for $1600! wow what a steal. if you want to make money, bring it out here, they go for about $4000 all day around here.

I have the same size tires on mine (but my widths are abit wider). I have hit some hard potholes and havnt bent the Work's yet! It's not too bad of a ride either. The car has settled alittle since this was taken (lowered on JIC springs) and it slightly rubs in the front.

whats the exact sizes of your wheels and tires.  I just got my wheels today and they are staggered. 19x9.5 & 19x8.5.

19x9.5 and 19x10.5

245/35 front 275/35 rear.

I think the offsets are around 38mm. Not that it matters, you have your rims already.

I had a 91 LS with245/40/18 and 275/35/18. . .8.5 and 9.538 offset front and rear. It did rub in the rear a little. The main thing that matters the most is offset. I was not happy with the choice that I made with that set up. It just didnt give it the VIP look. To me it was a more european look. . .like a 5 series. Another thing to consider is the tire maker. Some tires are wider then others. Espically when things are lowered and your pushing the edge. Well good luck.

I ended up getting a 245/35 19 fronts,  and 275/30 19 rears. Ofset are 40's.  The rims are 10 inch rears and 9's fronts.
