Stock air suspension to coil overs conversion

I want to know if anyone here has sucessfully removed the stock air suspension for their LS400 and switched over to convetional coil overs struts shocks. I'd like to lower my car an inch and
get better handling shocks. I was told that i had to rip out all the wiring and plug it so the
sensors will be shut off so that it will not light up on my control panel as a flashing warning. I've heard of strutmasters but is there anything else out there?
If you have whats the proceedure and which shocks did you get?

ok
step one
remove console
step two
take out light
step three
install coilovers and quit worrying!

i just put the coilovers on and screw the flashing signal.  you get used to it =\

Ok, i just checked under the wheel well and saw coils. Hummm i think it has been changed. I open the air suspension covers under the hood and the wire were disconnected.  I guess nevermined about the airsuspension. Which lowering springs do i need?
