That's cool man. I'm a "professional" with a desk job, Art Dept. Manager, racing industry, lots of fun and many cool opportunities, but so-so pay. However, the next time they have the lottery at the docks, I'm gonna put my name in. I have quite a few union friends, even my boss, the West Coast Op Mgr has his casual card and his son is now full time. Hell, I could make way more money working the docks than I make as a "professional". So I guess I'll hopefully one day be an ILWU member.

I'm in quite a big legal battle at the moment. It started out against an employer with help from the NLRB/FEDS. Now we're fighting the NLRB/FEDS/EMPLOYER. It's all started b/c it's against the law in the US to lay off an entire plant, and basically liquidate all the plants assets b/c of Union Organization. Thats all I feel I can say at the moment. The settlement is looking nice tho :) (thus my interest in VIP again lately)
