I pulled up an old picture of one of my favorite MA70 Supras. And now I look at it and think, "the wheel fitment sucks!" :D
thats a good thing, I have been telling all the local peeps that there wheel fitment is sub par. They are not to happy with me till I show them just what a little better offset would look like and then the wheels go up for sale!

yeah I love those cars, so Japanese!!!! I have done a lot of work on them and never seen one with good offset but that car looks pretty good some better wheels and its game over.
I got a friend that has Work wheels on it, 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 +31 offset on both. It's set up with -2.5 degree camber and it looks like the wheels can come out another 20-25 mm with stretched tires and rolled fenders. He's not into that, but the fitment is better than anything else I've seen on an MA70.

those have a soft spot in me as well, just not factory turbo... but they are not nearly as tankie as the MA70
