F50 Projectors RetroFit to Y33 Cima H/L

anybody know where i can get this professionally done? i found a good deal on a pair of perfect condition "gattling gun" bulbs. i dont know anything about retrofitting and want the pros to handle it. how much would the installation be anyways?

Not sure about prices, but there are quite a few professional 'retrofitters' on hidplanet.com forums... Maybe try asking there?

http://customlightz.com/

They do great work. I haven't used them myself but I've seen 4 retro's they did on a few of my friends cars back in VA and their work is top notch. Funny, I was thinking "I've never seen them do the 'Gattling Gun' retro before" and on their homepage is a car with a Q45 retro they did to it!

Van from One Ton Garage and do it. I think maybe Autofashion? Ask Freddy or Elroy since they are local.

Van's up in Norcal so that might be a hassle for you bro. Autofashion will probably be your best bet.

Haha sending Freddy some business.... ;)

Im sent a email to customlightz. Waiting to see what they can do.

Anyone ever seen a reto for the gattlings on the 97-98 q45s? It looks nice on the newer dual healights, but the older one only has a single bulb design..

Meh, if you do have it done, make sure to get some shrouds put in around the projectors to cover up the hole and make it look more 'natural' or 'stock'

+2 shrouds will make or break it. also if it were me id use the touring lights. the blacked out sporty light will match the projectors better. ill try to find some pics to show what i mean.

Yeah, they look pimpin on the blacked out touring lights. But shrouds is a must, or else it just looks like someone sucker punched your car in the eye.

OR he can be a big baller and do both! :giggity: thatd be pretty crazy looking. i always wanted to add another gatling gun for my hi-beams.

daygo,
did you ever see those touring look, projector'd out y33 lights on YAJ? might be a cheaper easier solution.

I think they look right at home in the F50's big headlights. If you want more output, just get LS430 projectors.

Funny I was just looking at my neighbors and wondering on how I would go about doing that. Its alot easier to make room for a huge projector then it is to cover up the hole left by one and putting in a smaller one. I was thinking pondering the thought of using a LS430 housing as a starting point.

Round peg in a square hole, and very obvious about it too.

Doesn't do it for me....

The only do I can remember liking were that Datsun 510 pickup, and Revision's GS
