FLT-A2 VIP coilover

does anyone here run the FLT-A2 VIP coilover on there car ..im thinkin about running these just wanna kno how they ride and any other details on them

i have them but not installed yet.

I have them on my Q. They ride fantastic, although you have to play with the dampening settings and tune it to your personal preference. Might take a while but it will be perfect.

Don't waste your time trying to get this from JIC, you're not going to get them any time soon. I waited over 4-5 months, when they told me they had them in stock, just to get them. They just kept feeding me bull about missing the next shipment and etc, when I found out the truth that they hadn't even started making that batch yet.

I have them on my G50 and I'm not impressed. The left rear started making noise and leaking oil after about 4 months (purchased brand new.) They feel really springy. In my opinion the valving isnt stiff enough. On stock wheels it bounces all over the place so on bigger/ heavier wheels you can only imagine.  I found out JIC doesn't even have the right tools to recharge the gas in the shocks. So any rebuild you get will be half assed at best since they cant get all of the air out. You're better off having them rebuilt somewhere else. As far as a shock dyno. The guys at JIC dont have one and dont know how to read a graph anyway. The damper adjustments are inconsistent shock to shock so just because you have them set to the same position doesn't mean they really are in the same position. Something like that you'd need a Shock Dyno to know for sure anyway. This probably is the reason why mine blew so soon. Their U.S. based "Plant" What a joke that is too. Customer service is terrible. John would rather make excuses and blame the consumer rather than rebuild your shocks.  Ever notice how many bad things you hear about JIC and how few good things you hear about them? Kinda makes you wonder. At first I thought the people that were saying them just had personal issues with the company. But now I see they are just garbage in general.

so JIC isnt good in rebuilding these shocks?!

Im not a fan of them as a company. But my honest opinion is that if you get a good deal on them (and I mean a really good) and your willing to invest the money to make them better ( by possibly having them revalved and/ or changing the spring rates) You can probably make a good shock out of them. 
Here is someone else's opinion that I came across. Now keep in mind this test pertains to autocrossing but the same information will still hold true granted this is a reliable source. oh, just out of curiosity..how much do these go for? the cost of the set?

WE have 6 Sets of JIC Coilovers a few FLTA1 and FLTA2.
Skyline has FLTA2
GS300 FLTA2
My S14 FLTA2
S2000 FLTA1
S13 FLTA2 Custom Setup
Evo8 and Evo9  Custom Track Setup on Evo8 and Normal FLTA2 on the Evo 9

I Have had JIC coilovers for the last 5 years, I have only had one blow on me and it was fixed in 2 weeks.  JIC has always backed there product 100% for me and Customers.  Personally these are the best valved and springed coilovers I have ever owned.  I am comparing them to other coilovers I have owned or driven on. I am comparing them to Tein Type Flex/Megan/HKS/Tanabe Sustec Pros.  Since you can get the coilovers setup from them however you like all you have to do is ask and for a little more money they are valved and sprung to your liking.

I'm glad I saw this because I was tempted to get these as well.
