Want to do a Previa. . .need some advice though.

I have caught the Van bug. I was going to buy a 94 accord wagon but I cant stop thinking of Previas. I have found numerous vans for sale from 1500 bucks to 4000. I have found several kitts online and even found that raceon has a few. My concern is how hard is it to convert the side skirts? I have also seen suspensions for sale in various locations(mostly yahoo japan). Is there front and rear coilovers or just front coils and rear springs, or both? I love the jdm black housed head lights and the jdm tail lights. Where do I find them? Any thoughts Ideas would be helpful.

Glad to hear that you are planning in picking up a Previa and modding it Vip Style. In answer to your questions......

1) Previa Aero Guide (in this same section) is a good place to start regarding kits out there for the Previa.

2) As for making the side skirts work......not too sure. But I do believe that there is a member(s) on here who are currently doing this as we speak. I hope that they will share their experiences on this.

3) Suspension......there are a variety of Springs and Coil-Overs. I am currently running TEIN Super Wagon Coil-Overs and am hoping to go air eventually.

4) As for the ESTIMA headlight and tail light conversion, I do believe that there is even a DIY of holes you will have to drill, places you need to cut, etc.

All of these items which you have posted can be found on Yahoo Auctions Japan. This is a great place to search. A lot of our Vendors here on the site can bring in items off of Yahoo Auctions Japan. Personally I have dealt with Robert (the face) and I highly recommend him.

One item that you may want to think about.........instead of picking up a set of Springs or Coil-Overs it may be a better option to saving up cash and going air right out the gate. With you planning to get a kit it would be a nice option to go up and down with a push of a button. Also Previas have oil pans which hang lower than the frame and are known to take quite a beating if you run low on coil's or springs. I am currently in the process of hoping of going air myself........in the long run it will save you a lot of money to just front the money for air instead of going coils. I think that you will be a lot happier in the end and your bank account will thank you also........wish I had someone telling me this. Now I got to un-install(not fun at all on the Previa), sell(for a lot less than what I picked them up for, let alone find a buyer).......yada yada yada.

Good luck and have fun! Who knows you may actually be the first to actually finish and complete an EGG. LOL My money is on EstimaStyleWagonClub..........but Shawnthemonster has everything he needs to complete but I think that it is just a matter of not having the time.

That Van looks sweet......dual sunroofs, White, Great Body Condition, Probally 2nd Row Captain Chairs, JDM Headlights and Tailights (DUH), Over Fenders, is it just the angle of the shot taken or does the Rear look like its Cambered(IRS)?.......everything I wanted in an Egg. The more I think about it I wish I never bought my Egg which I have now......its got nothing I wanted to have on the Egg.......and the Seller Screwed me on top of that. Sorry for threadjacking.

RASRX7......pm sent.

I don't think it has rear camber, it's probably just the camera angle and the driftgirl special offsets on the wheels.
