BATTLE SCAR!! why?

just wanted to share what happened to me today.. 1 week after my kit getting painted.. whacked a curb.. not my wife.. but i actually did this.. sickening!! but hopefully it can go back into the shop as early as monday to get repaired.. im on tein cs.. custom fiber glass kit.. now this gives me a very good reason to get my air sus.. very soon..

You hit into a curb, as in a driveway?
Cos if that is one of those parking bumpstops, you should consider reversing into carparks instead. Bummer to have it happen so soon though!

yeah guys.. as anal as i am or hard on my wife when she drives the car.. it happened to me.. i was in a rush only to find a shop was closed.. oh well.. back into the booth.

Naw man.. definately not the first.. second.. third? haha.. it just happened!! yes this bummed my trip the whole day people.. so.. air suspension in the works.. hopefully.. in the mean time just cranked the teins up a little.. should be ok.. literally.. you can see fiberglass.. but i am very impressed in the work by the shop.. as hard as i whacked it.. just the bottom cracked.. not the whole bumper.. it was reinforced all the way around when i inserted the grilles for the middle.. great work done by the shop!

Stuff like that always happens to me on the day I get the car back or within the same week I get the car. All I can say is enjoy the car, keep it fresh but dont ever let it make you or break you.

i agree!! i'll post pics after repair... trying to work on my stance.. got spacers.. now i need a fender roller...

Having air doesnt guarantee you wont have this problem... unless you only drive skyhigh and then lower it only when you have walked around the car to make sure there is nothing under the kit.

this is true too.. i never thought bout having to check around the car.. i would just slam it where ever i park.. haha..

The other thing you want to watch out for is parking spots !!! I usually park in reverse so I know I won't have any issue and also show off the car more :biggthumpup:
