89-94 maxima(a32) vip inspire do able??

ok yah i been looking on here well i seen like one or so but iuono it all mostly the newer max (95-up) but i haven't seen much on the old one the big sedan one i was wondering if that is vip inspire do able?? i do own one and wanted to know if i should go through with this but depends on if it actually look nice when complete so just checking before i start it

Anything is possible, but that maxima is not truely a VIP platform. But theres nothing that will stop a car from rocking VIP accessorys ect.

If i seen 4th gen accords rock clean fitment wheels with a decent lip, with clean sleek body styling look really classy, but no matter what. Its still an accord and never will be compaired to a Q or a LS ect.

Everyone has their own opinion, some will tell you your just wasting your time, some will say go for it do what ever you want.

Well since you stated VIP Inspired...yes, it can be VIP Inspired.  But, even at that you need to make sure you do the mods in the correct fashion so as to compliment the car and stay true to the style.

i'm one of the guys working on an a32 and let me warn you, its a rough road. i'm pretty sure you could pull of something nice, but we will never be vip. my advice; get what you can from vip, but don't get too caught up in making a "vip style" car. without the aftermarket support theres only so much that can be done, and you can drive yourself crazy trying to fit the mold without it. just keep it clean and low and enjoy it for what it is.
 
*edit* btw, 95-99 is a32.

i got one and tried it..hes right..really rough road. not alot of aftermarket support for the car and youll have to custom almost everything for it. Theres more support for the newer ones.

I think it would be hard to go VIP inspired on a 3rd Gen Maxima. Its hard enough to find aftermarket parts for that to begin with. I miss my 3rd Gen :sad:  its been my favorite car to date so far........

Is that the BMW headlight Conversion?

that would only make things a little easier. for about the same price you could find a g50/y33 which would make life much easier. i think you could pull off something with your third gen though. check out the accord in the "weds featuring work" thread (search). thats a great example of a tough platform executed extremely well.

Yeasirrrr!! European headlights shipped straight from Germany with Angel Eyes. Had them before the E36 guys had them with HIDs and all back in 2000.

Making all the E36 owners drop their mouths when they see them hacked up in a 93 Maxima: PRICELESS!!

dont most of them have a lil factory sticker that reads "4DSC"  (Four Door Sports Car)
 
not exactly the foundation for VIP, definitely look at Q's or LS's, they can be had for pretty cheap.

lol, thats the same excuse the maxima.org guys use when they go all sporty. to me the max goes more toward the luxury side than a "4 door sports car" (whatever that is).

Been there done that...........I enjoyed my Max when I had her but most definately not love in the "aftermarket" segment.....learned that the hard way.  I got some good memories.....

And I always say that they stopped making the 4DSC in 1994. Some people still think they have a supercar in the making especially the younger members. The main reason I bought mine was because the VQ30DE is like the most reliable V6 ever made on earth and I needed a car at that very moment.

You wont regret it.
