Wheel experts come in!

i was looking for some New wheels for my g35 coupe, only thing is i dont know crap about wheels, offsets, neg camber and etc.

my question is whats the most aggresive style i can get outta the Work wheels Vs-xx in 19's? i want something like 19x9.5 in fronts and a 19x10.5 or 11's rear.

what offset would i be safe at? i will be doing a Bigbrake kit eventually and would like clearance for it. i searched around on g35 boards, but non could really give an answer, and well since this board has some of the cleanest and best setups i seen, why not ask the pros right? i want something that is a reliable setup, and to have alittle bit of that negative camber look =) i tried searching but really didnt find an answer i needed.

thanks.

There's also guys on my350z.com that run aggressive offsets too.

depending on how much camber/modification you will be doing there shouldn't be too much you can't fit. i stumbled accross this guy running 10/11 negative offsets, but he is going with extreme camber.

I did 19x10.5 and 19x12 on Neil Tjin's G35C about a year ago.
We ran 245/35-19 + 285/35-19 for a nice stretch.
Tons of negative camber and perfect offset make it all possible.

It's mostly a question of how far you will go to make an an
aggressive wheel/tire package fit.

Most guys go 19x9 +25 and 19x10.5 +25 and call it good.

im always down to do something amazing, there was a 350z with 19x9.5 and 19x11's in the rear with a 13 offset, but didnt have much of a negative camber look.

i wanna stretch the tires of course and give it that mean look, so i guess i just need to keep talking and finding more about offsets and what not with ya guys =)

Tire wear and fender mods. G35/350z's already have tire wear issues from the factory so a little more wouldn't hurt.

I did these for Neil, the car was going to be painted a different color.

Well, I should actually say the car IS getting painted a different color,
but these wheels won't fit the new version.

I generally don't disclose offsets.

ok i just came up with another question, i want some Wed wheels and see that dont make 19's , but i dont mind running 18's.

now the chart im looking at is abit hard to understand , goes something like
Lo +25 Hi+11 then on top it says offset is 76.2, now is that much of a look? i used that cause that was the first thing i saw for a set of 18x10's

fill me in on what a more aggressive offset would be since im still clueless on this hah :inouteek:

Uhm, no offense, but unless he lives at the north pole I'd say the wheels didn't match THAT version. Had the car been black...okay, maybe. Nice wheels though, but I'm liking the look of those Emotions or whatever they are on the white 350z.

Hey, I didn't pick the color scheme... Neil is known for doing some off the
wall color combos (his R34 Skyline 4 door was "snot green" - I hated it).
The G35C was going to be painted battleship grey, but now the car
is headed and entirely different direction and the wheels aren't on it.

Saw this G35 about year ago at my work for the Scion Evolution Kickoff Show. The wheels sat nicely, but I'd try pushing something a lil more aggressive just for shitz and giggles
