Looks like you were able to dial out some of the rear camber and looks like u switched  out the ferderal rear tires

i raised both the rear coils 3 turns, so i dont crush the aero, it rests on the ground right now, and i dont want to stress the aero at all.
 
however
i did adjust about 4* out of hte rear right, since it had more camber than the other
 
there is 10000yen bill clearance on both sides now, instead of just the left

the fitment and stance  looks a lot cleaner and less "broken" i have nothing against heavy  camber it, was just b4 when u dumped the car there was a gap between rim and fender in the rear. i thinks that looks bad with heavy camber.  now u seem to be flush at allmost al heights

don't take this the wrong way, i have a lot of respect for you and what you do, but it just doesn't look as clean and well put together as a freshly aerod and painted car should to me. maybe its the pics or maybe the other 20% is fine tuning. i dunno.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but it actually looks pretty awful. The paint anyways. But I understand that it isn't done yet, so don't take it as negative criticism - I'm aware of why.

I'd still like to see daytime pics, where the swirl marks and orange peel aren't visible, so we can see what it looks like ideally

Wheel fitment is TIGHT!!! I looks great at all heights. What size and offsets are those rims, they're unique, did you get rid of the Kranze? Looks like the new suspension has been holding up well too. 

On your signature, is that a metal plate riveted to the corner of your rear aero?

yeha, it was becuase i scraped that rear bumper everywhere i went, so it kept the fiberglass from getting ground down.
i haev them on the front of my skirts and bottom of bumpers as well.

The pearl looks blotchy and not evenly distributed. I think you should rethink your painter and get one of those bad ass guys in japan paint your car. But who cares what I think.

its been said multiple times why i dont have a "badass" painter (which BTW like 60% want that much, and they dont even paint in a booth i have checked)

I just think since your up there and have the resources, you should take advantage of that. It's the first I heard of you getting rid of your car, I thought your goal was to be the first foreigner to have a VIP CAR magazine feature ? Just because they don't paint in a booth, don't mean that the results are going to be shitty. Was the FLAKE sprayed as a mid-coat or was it applied in the clear?

im TRYING to get it back to the states
if i secure a way to do it, THEN it will be sent in for a fulla nd complete paintjob.
However, i knew for a fact i was going to do ALOT more bodywork, and in around 6 months, im pulling hte motor, replacing hte manifolds, along with some other stuff like a turbo upgrade and such, and at that time also doing sheetmetal widebody. I was only going ot do like 3-4 inches, but im thinking more liek 6 inches on each side.
i want no chance of a drive through car wash.

So how about some nice shots of the paint? All i see is night and rainy day shots...must not of come out that good...did you use micro sequence flake? they do look blotchy but it's hard to tell...i hope your painter either used an agitator cup or threw some ball bearings in his cup to help lay the flake down more evenly...but i'm sure he was top notch...and your clear also looks like it died back...
 
there's absolutely no way you can paint a complete outside...i mean, you can but no one in their right mind ever will...the only things i paint outside are complete sides and bumpers...anything with a top surface, i put 'em in a booth...i'm sure the japanese painters aren't that dumb...they will probably just rent a booth...even if it's cross draft...
 
besides, i'm sure they have some laws about letting choke isocyanide in the atmosphere...

The gap is due to the intercooler piping..he needs to trim the inside of the bumper a little more apparently.  That's all.  As for the paint..didn't come out like he had hoped, but it's only temporary till after the larger bodywork.    He could buff it up, but it cuts into some of the flake for some reason.  I wasn't there when it got sprayed so I have no idea why it's like it is.  The flake is regular HOK flake from what I remember.

You need to clear the car again...the painter most likely shot the flake in the clear that's why he's nibbing the flake when sanding the clear...if the painter knew he was going to shoot clear once he should have put it in the adhesion promoter...then he might have a chance at burrying the flake...looks like you got ripped off no matter how much you spent...

Yeah I agree..HE should have the flake in a few stages. In the clear with adhesion promoter..Then they should have sprayed clear without the flake so they could have cut the actual clear instead of the clear with the flake..I dunno I was expecting alot more of a complete car and this no offense looks a little whack...I no Grant did not spray it but to fly someone all the way to spray it I would have thought he would have left this like a mirror and not a half a$$ job...The paint looks dull to me. Car loooks good though I like the aero choices and the front looks nice and so does the rear end..He really needs to fix that gap between the fender and bumper..
 
but thats what VIP is all about..seems like most cars are allways a work in progress...I know mine is..still got lots to do.
