Beaten up Lowenhart
Just got a beaten up LD5LX from a friend. How do I remove the white spot & scratches on it? I'm not keen to have it re-finished as the shine will not as good as the original factory finish.

You are up..yah, that creek without a paddle. There's no way to remove them without refinishing. They are below the finish..not on it.

Oh well... Since I have to re finish it, I'm thinking of chromed it instead. One concern I have is the difficulties to maintain chrome finished wheels. What do you think?

Clean them, wax them. That's all there is to maintaining chrome wheels. Of course, be nice to them.
