Daily driver wheels are 2 weeks away so now i'm focusing on my weekend wheels...

If I buy these chrome 3pc wheels I can sand/grind down the chrome and polish them right? Cause I want to take htem apart, remove the chrome, paint them black, then polish the face and stick the newly cleaned hardware in. True?

Is there a solvent I can pour on the chrome or do I just have to sand it all off?

I was also in the process of painting the inner part of the face and polishing the face.I'm almost done with one wheel but it takes too much time so I gave up on finishing them.that was about 3 months ago.I'll post up pics tommorrow.btw,its 15" Enkei Mesh rims for my hachi.
