Automatic Toilet

Found an interesting goods & like to share it with you guys. It's a fully automatic toilet from TOTO Japan. Operated by remote control, come with heated seat, warm water washing (no more toilet paper!) and air dryers. After you've done your business, it will also automatically flush for you. Cool hands free operation! Price is about USD 5,000.

BTW, it also have those Ferrari fin design on its side =)

Wow! That's pretty neat, it even washes and blowdrys your ass after your squeeze out a couple VIP styled maximas.

Hmmm i'm going to guess...... 8 months till Junction Produce sticks thier name on the side.  =)

Man, these things have been available in Japan for at least 10 years, probably more than 20yrs.
 
Most Japanese households have these toilets (or at least a variation on that, with all the same features). Heated seats are the ducks nuts in winter, and water jet is, well it takes some getting used to. Auto flush is another great feature.
 
I was looking to buy the seat-only version last time i was there to bring back to Australia (available from $400). Except they only take 110v and australia is 240v.

I suppose the stuff is now also available in 220-240V version since they already market it in Jakarta. Buy it in Indonesia whenever you come over. Anyhow, it will cost you a couple of millions... Rupiah =)

Ah thats mean... I went to the Toto showroom in Tokyo and asked if they export to any foreign markets... they told me they only do 110v versions!!
 
They will do great in Muslim countries!

Hell yes they sell a lot of those shower toilet seat here. It's a basic cheaper model without all the electrical features, and the jet is working on water pressure.

Haha, thanks, my wife had looked up a while back where to get them locally, but that's not the problem.  The problem is they cost too much (to justify the buy right now) and currently we're renting.  We do without a doubt plan to have them in our actual house though.

My question to you all is will the jet be strong enough to clean my dingleberries?  Will it be strong enough to prevent skid marks in my underroos?

Haha, from personal experience..yes.  At least the model we had..which is the one i posted above.

lol, the automatic flushign toilets we have here in the us in like public restrooms scare the shit out of me. you dont know when they are going to flush !!!!!

and yeah.. i dont think i can get use to the water clean and blow dry... yeah... TP for life.

Mine has like 18 diffrent buttons and it only heats up when the lid automatically opens up, it gets warm fast.  Unless your going to piss then you have to push a button to lift the last lid.
 
Then there are 8 hidden knobs for temp of the diffrent features it has. 
 
What I like about mine the seat doesnt stay hot all the time unless its in use and the buttons are built in the wall not on the side of the toliet.
 
In the second bathroom its almost the same but less buttons.
 
 
The fan takes toooooooooooo log better to dry your A$$ w/ $100 bills...........:smiley-rofl:

I love those toilets.  They do take a little getting used to though. They have them at all the Japanese stores around here, so I know they make them for whatever we use in the USA, 120V?

For real is there stuff like this in the US? To think i've been duken' in a plain old VIP toilet when I could be getting the VIP experience! Auto lifting toliet seat cover?? Thats the bathroom equivilent of air ride right there. Buttons on the wall to control stuff? These are VIPed out! Can I get one in black?

with a burlwood cover? don't foget the fusa for a real vip experience. but the stance has to be on point and fitment must be flush (pun).

Flush fitment when you are seated on it? Depends on how big you are. It has a perfect fitment when nobody seat on it. 

This things might be big in the US. Informed that Will Smith & J Lo has used it for over a year now.

EVERYONE who goes to Japan comes back raving about them... But the thing is, i am not sure people will be willing to drop that much on a toilet seat when a regular one is so much cheaper. People in Japan are willing to pay for conveniences, people (in australia at least) dont see the overall value in things like this (until they try it!!)

Bit like the digital bath controls, set the temperature, press a button and walk away. It beeps when the bath is full, then continually adjusts the temperature to make sure it stays at the selected setting. That is just too cool

Just wait till Caroma get holds into it mate. When the market leader jump into anything new, most likely sales will pick up. I'm quite sure the demand is there.

I went to TOTO showroom for a try out yesterday, ended up ordering one. At the expense of an air runner... Can't argue with my CFO (aka my wife) =)

Actually they have installed it in their guest toilet. It act as an "experiment room". It's not like what you think. Trust me, I won't do it even if they let me poop on the showroom. =)

Hahaha, yah, they have the ones with external controls too.  I guess that's the one that Robert has.  I don't think I need that many extra accessories.  And the ones with controls on the side have similar features, it doesn't always have to be on and yes, they do heat up fast.  We just kept ours on though like 3/4 of the year. I mean, why get the shock seat when it can be nice and toasty!

The 2nd set of controls are in the kitchen and talks to us when its ready. I like the auto timer it starts up 30 minutes before the 1st person gets home.

Maybe you dont but I dont like messing w/ controls so its easier to just push a button thats a Powerful,  Middle or a Soft stream of water at the right temp. Just dont push the wrong button the stream for the ladies front end. Smacks you in the nuts.

Actually i still remember the day i first arrived in Japan and my host father was trying to show me how it all works. The jet doesnt activate unless you are sitting on the seat... So he bends down and presses on the seat and the jet hits him straight in the face...

Hahaha..thank God I never hit the wrong button.  I do remember the first time I used it and didn't know how to turn it off, I though it would just stop.  I was just pressing anything.  Fortunately I didn't press that one as the little picture where the button is was self explanatory...hahaha!

I was a little hesitant to use these as well but all it takes is one late night trip to the toilet to convince you.  Say goodbye to the heart attack facial cringe from sitting on an ice cold seat.   There is even one that not only dries the nether-regions but also has a built in air purifier that draws in the "tainted air" from inside the bowl and cycles it out the back of the lid.

The air purifier, they call it neutralizer here, really works great... Do your business & no nasty smells at all. Good when you are not the 1st person to do your business...

I also like their soft close feature.  Their marketing campaign is bizarre, but hey..think of the subject matter.  Haha.  It's funny how it shows you all of their asses, and then their faces.  To make you "feel" more comfortable about hanging around to listen.

Seen the new models yet? The Neorest A comes with a light that automatically turned on when it detect you. Good features for us so there will be no more miss shooting in the middle of the night! Hehehe....
