What does everyone think of

Vogue Tire's with a white and gold stripe???? Are they to gangster? I know they aren't traditional VIP but I just think with a nice set of chrome wheels they'll set themselves apart, while still retaining a very classy look.

I think that would be over doing it!
But I wouldn't be surprised if somebody did it!
I mean dammit they got dayton and lambo's of VIPs!

but seriously I think this would be one of those points where you have to draw the line between dubstyle and VIPstyle! Never the less! You should try it to see!

yeah that was something i was thinking about that, it does seem to be a little dubstyle, but i just want to see what everyone thinks of it.

the other problem is the largest rim diameter is a 18" so I wouldn't be able to do a 19" like I want to go to. the price on them is certainly VIP though, my wholesale price for a 235/50R18 would be about $247 per tire.

those would look kind of weird with a stretch on them as all you would probably see from the side is the yellow and white part of the sidewall.  i can't really envision it as being a good look for a VIP styled car.
 
i was actually thinking of this driving home from work yesterday when i saw a 300M with a set of them and i thought that it wouldn't really look right on anything but a Caddy.  that's just me though.

I dunno if you guys also remember this, but in Midnight Club 3 you could put skinny whites on a 2nd gen GS.

yeah again the only reason i even thought of it was because the car is whit so i figured it might look nice, but it might be a little to gangster to be true vip.

I'm still not convinced it would be awful.

I've seen Vip cars with white lettering, and yellow lettering. I'm not going to knock this until I see it. I dunno why.

It could work on a 17 or 18 "max full face monoblock wheel with fat tires. The car would still have to me slammed.

Funny, the last car show i went to in Australia i noticed ALOT of cars had red or yellow striped wheels, some even had both red and yellow stripes.
 
There are no words to describe how tacky it looked. How out of place and how ridiculous. IMO gold/silver would have a similar effect, and should be avoided at all costs...

yeah but hey where would we be today if occasionally people didn't try things a little different, i'll stay closer to traditional VIP on this one but there's still other things that i want to try.

i think if it was just a whitewall and no gold stripe i'd be inclined to do it, since it does make the wheel look bigger overall. it'd be awesome to see a whitewall 35 series tire, it'd look like there was no tire at all.
