Re-drilling wheel bolt pattern ( PCD )
in particular 5x112 to 5x114.3, the method used will be to drill out the hole bigger and add inserts in place.
anyone here done it ? what are your thoughts about it in terms of safety and reliability ?
and do all 5 holes need to be modified? or just 3 ? I figure it should be all 5 to retain the hub center point.

You have to take it to a place that has done it before. I had 5x114.3 converted into 5x120 without any issues. I don't think there is saftey or reliability issues to be concerned with but you absolutely have to get all 5 re-drilled and sleeved. It's like $15 a wheel, crazy cheap if you ask me. If you need the number of the place I used I can PM it to you. They are in socal so I had to ship all my wheels there and back.
