minivan's vip?

again all of you know im new to VIP, im grasping the concept of the VIP cars. But please no offense, minivans? Whats the 411 on these? I work a Dogde Toyota Scion dealer as a salesperson and we sell scion xb's like nothing, is the japan version of a van a hot setup or what? Are they fast? Loaded? Im mean this is the most curious way.
Just trying to learn more.

In Japan the xB is known as the Toyota bB. Its got a huge following in Japan. Furthermore, there is an very large VIP Van and VIP Wagon crowd in Japan, complete with elaborate shows, magazines, and a strong aftermarket pressence. Its all about style. They certainly aren't fast, but they are efficient, cool, priced right, and look great slammed on wide wheels.

This is of a pic of my firend's odyssey. He has sold it. He now drives a real VIP chassis (LS430) in Japan.

the thing about vip wagons or any cars in general is the fact that automobiles are not the main source of transportation in japan. it is more of a luxury good/want unlike north america where automobiles are a definite must to get around town.
so whatever people drive in japan is a statement and japanese people love cars, so they like to spend money on it
