camber adjustment ucf30

what are my options as far as rear camber adjustment on my ls430?  I was told at the alignment shop that u can't adjust stock camber...they said i need to buy pre adjusted arms to get it back into spec (stock alignment).  so if i wanted negative camber, is there a way to adjust it?   if so, how much can u achieve on stock arms?

I couldn't find any local companies that sell camber adjusters.  If not mistaken, according to this website...this camber adjuster SET cost around $2500.  Not too sure about current currency exchange rate.  

anyways, is this the only adjusters available for the ucf30?

Not too familiar with the 30's but the 10's and 20's (all cars I've ever worked on) have adjustable camber washers...if you look closely, there an eliptical washer with notches on it...there's actually 2 per side...one to adjust camber and one for toe...turn the bolt and the washer will move...you can actually feel the whole hub move

yeah, that is the factory adjustment. i thought that bean was referring to aftermarket

If I'm not mistaken, he asked what his options are as far as camber adjustments...his alignment shop said they could not adjust the stock camber settings...I know he wants info on aftermarket but I'm sure there's a way to adjust camber on the 30's...this way, he may not need aftermarter arms...

So as far as stock camber, depending on how low you are, you can get 4-5 degrees...

As far as aftermarket arms Nagisa and some of the youzealand stuff is our only options. I remember OneTon mentioning something about developing multilinks for ucf chassis but dont know much more then that. Id love to run the nagisa stuff but its too damn expensive, for nissans there are so many options because of the shared parts from other chassis and its around 1/4 the price sometimes too. Im wondering if there are parts we can share from supras and sc's since they have more support.

yeah, i wanted to know what options i have besides these 2500 arms.  I was told by my alignment shop (firestone) that you can't adjust camber.  My friend was able to adjust his camber (i guess how vip-ucf mentioned) on his 10...I just wasn't sure the 30 was able to do it.  I should get under there and check it out.  I use to work on my suspensions on the nissans and infiniti that i had but i haven't touched the lexus suspension yet.  I usually like to have some kind of shop manual so i don't mess things up.  I guess you gotta "pay to play"  when it comes to this VIP thing.

if the alignment  shop says you cant adjust camber when u can, ..... dont go there. they are either billshitting u or dont know what they are talking about. most modern alignment racks come with software that tells you  the locations of the camber eccentric bolts

I can't see how there is NOT a stock camber adjustment...buy a ls430 manual or if you want to bring it by my house, I can look for you

On the rear you would have to buy an adjustable rear camber arm because off the lot they didnt come equipped with it so call up ur local dealership and they can give u the right piece.  The front does have a camber bolt with dial on it and can be set but you would have to adjust the toe also and that goes for the front and the rear.  I hope that helps since i do own a LS430 myself and did alot of searching.  Remember this will only do a 3 degree camber if you wanted to go more Nagisa is the only company that makes it and we get that here at Autofashion.  If you have anymore questions you can call the shop and I would be more then happy to help you out.

Damn Freddie, you beat me to it!   Call up Carson Toyota and they can get you that adjustable rear control arm.

cool.  i'll give ya a call this weekend.  interested in ur knowledge about suspension on these cars.  ...also want to know the price on nagisa arms.   damn...think i need to go rob a bank or something.  seems like every mod i do ends up adding up to more stuff i gotta do...

It was mentioned that maybe something for the SC/Supra would work.  

The best option I found for SC/Supra was the Daizen upper camber bushings.  They go in the control arms and you can install them so you have +/- 2 deg adjustment.  Not a lot of adjustment and the bushings have to be removed to make any adjustments.

What I had in mind when I mentioned were the Battleversion multilinks. I sent them an email the other day to see if there was any compatibility with ucf20.
