Our GS400 Race Car

We have built many full race car builds. Alot of 240s, rx-7 etc. We found this for a good price and picked it up for a good price. It was a Team Lexus Gt Cup car.  We recently got this car and are getting the parts to do a 6speed manual swap. 1uzfe-v160. Should be a fun car we are going to Road Race it,  Time Attack, Drift Demos. I run Drift Events in NJ so it will see those events alot.  Anyways let me know what you think. This is our starting point.

This seems to be the wrong forum for a race car but it's a cool idea. I know they're selling 1UZ/V160 adapter plates on Club Lexus if you haven't found those yet.

Your inspiration should be Friend's Racing.  Best 16 Aristo ever...

Thats what I pictured. Also I am familiar with the Freinds Aristo and am a Big fan. We want to use the 1uzfe though. It will have a kit and alot of other exterior goodies.

Yeah it was a Team Lexus car. That was there color. We will be repainting it. Haven't gotten to it yet the 6 speed Supra swap alone is easy 6000.

 It has Pro Trac Remote reservoir shocks (now JRZ) with coilover springs, custom arms bunch of goodies like that.  So the suspension is all worked. Also we haven't weighed the car yet ( we have scales on our alignment rack) but from what we were told it should be around 2700 lbs. Sounds light but the car is extremely gutted.

will we see forced induction in the future?

The boss wants to see what it can do N/A first. I would love to jump right into a turbo set up myself. But it isn't my money. I just want to make at least 500+. Since I may most likely be the one driving it.  Either way the car will be amazing.

did u guys have an is before this one?.. cause i have seen pics of IS same color and was used for track...

We don't run Team Lexus or there cars. We purchased this GS that used to be one of Team Lexus' cars that is the only connection we have with them. The IS was also part of the Team Lexus program. They had the GS before the IS. When the IS came out they started using that. Lexus sold all of there cars to [URL]http://www.kingratmotorsports.com/default.aspx[/URL]. He runs a service where you can rent spec miatas at Summit Point.  The last I heard the Is were being built for similar duty. You could rent them and race them at tracks with full support. I don't see anything on the site though.

Also we heard from someone who raced against the Gs400 in the Motorola Cup endurance series that  these cars were doing 175mph on some of the coarses.  Team Lexus was allowed to only run on an excruciatingly skinny 245/50-16 tire as well which is funny.
