Hankook or Nitto?

Hi Guys,
   I don't really know much about tires and I have rubbing issue with my current tires so I wanted to go a smaller size tire and stretch them. I just wanted to see what you guys perfer between the two because I never purchase tires from these company before. It's either the Nitto NT555 or Hankook Ventus V4ES H105. I have to go with one of the two because their the only two tire company that makes a 225/35/20 and a 235/35/20.  Any advise is appreciated and thanks in advance.

From what I know, Hankook undersizes their tires spec...

have you looked at the Falken FK452 in that size, i know a few guys that are running them in that size with good amount of negative camber and haven't had any problems.

hankook, nitto has big ass sidewalls
 
nankang makes 225-35-20

your right, hankook and nitto are a bit fatter compared to falken.

everyone makes 225 35 20, it's [B]235 35 20[/B] that is rare.

yeah that was a my bad i didn't read it well enough they make it in a 19 in. in that size but not a 20. they do make a 245/35R20 in the 452 though if you want to go a little bigger

how bout some nankangs and nexen tires? im running the nexens for my rears and nankangs up front. so far they've been good to me and they gave me a good stretch

ewww!! 235-35-20, almost never heard of. but edit what i said about hankook they are actually one of my favs. nitto has the really fat sidewalls.
 
just do a 30 series. its pretty much like a 35, just do 245-30-20

I dunno about nankang's but the nexen brand and achilles brand have been getting alot of good positive feedback from customers. Balance's fine with good reliability.

a 225/30R20 might work as well and im pretty sure that's available in a FK452

another tire that's available in those sizes is the general exclaim uhp, i know a couple guys that are running these in a few different sizes and love them.

Hey guys, thanks for all your inputs. I really appreciate all the help. I really wanted to go 225/30/20 "max load = 1135" and 235/30/20  "max load = 1235"but I'm afraid that it won't hold up the weight of my car "CURB WEIGHT = 4015" also how I heard that the new tire diameter should not exceed more than 3% of the OEM tire or else you could have brake failure "don't if this is true".

Nexen sucks, I have a friend with those on his fronts, and every time it hits a pot hole, or even a dip in the road  like on  the highway, it tends to start leaking air, or it blew out, they suck.

as long as you're not grossly overweight you could run a 225/30R20 or if you don't have more than one passenger. as far as overall diameter goes, i wouldn't differ from it by more than 3%, however this opinion has caused some dissention lately among other members of the board. the way i look at it, section width can be played with all day long, overall diameter must remain somewhat close to o.e. specifications.

Oh I dunno, a lot of people here  are running them with no issues, some of them here on VSC to.

maybe isolated case, who knows.

All I know is I don't trust that Nexen brand. I was with him when it happened to just lose air after we drove to SJ from our town, about an hour drive on the highway. It's happened with BOTH Nexen's on his front wheels. 
 
He's running Falken FK452's in the back, and they are more stretched, with  smaller sidewalls, and he doesn't have any problems with those. 
 
I don't have any other experience with the tires mentioned, Although I DO have experience with General UHP's, and they are good tires, although they run a little wider, but stretch well.

Hankook strech better, but Nitto has better quality ... your choice
