that song is just f'n incredible with the use of the piano, and scratching, now thats HIP HOP in its truest form, who produced that dilla or de la? i have to get that album i listen to that song almost everyday... oh yea

Yea Like Water For Choclate is my 2nd Fav Common Album jus as amazing though, cause almost every song was J. Dilla Produced! I still like the original track for "The Light"
I love listening to the old skool Orginals to what's being sampled, that's stuff is Amazing!
 
Yo, if you like Marvin Gaye Samples you should check out a mixtape called "Brooklyn Soul" by Mick Boogie. It's the Jay-Z "American Gangster" Album w/ beatz sampled from Marvin Gaye!
I'm not a huge fan of Jay-z any more but out of all the Msh ups of American Gangster (and there's 1000s) this is my fav!
