Vip Table Edging?

So i'm having one hell of a terrible time trying to find some aluminum table edging.  I'm making a VIP laptop table  and I can't find ribbed aluminum edging anywhere.  Please someone help me out!  I'm not lookin for a large quantity to resell, I just need need some for my self.  PLEASE HELP ME!!!

go to pep boys or autozone.

look for chrome door/bumper molding. theres different sizes. 3 i believe. would work perfectly. im thinking about using it to make one as well.

any word on how your making your table? got pics?

i'll post up pics of the progress.  I have it all sketched out and some templates cut out even.  This is the final piece that has been driving me nuts!  I'll hit those people up and try the pep boys cuz i need some chrome trim for another part of the table.

HOLY (every curse word insterted here)!  That is just stunning.  Not just b/c the craftsmanship is top notch but it's also different than the generic table.  Way to add some flair.
Also, I'm in Columbus, Ohio.  Yea NoCoast living!... actually it sucks here and we have tons of snow and ice.  Most people couldn't even make it into work today.

hey umm is there a write up o making tables or can anyone give me a quick run thru or something

basicly get a board and some pictures of other tables that you like.  then start cutting, sanding and staining.  I just dove right into it.

As soon as I can find a GS locally I will be making some the the GS..I think there is a member here on the forum or a friend of a friend that has one that I can take measurements..
