Well I just wanted to post some pics of my car.  I'm finally on the right track to VIP.  
Got Leon Hardiritt Beils and a full JP kit on order.

What are the specs for the Beils, Offsetts????   That should look sick with the right offsets.

The specs on the wheels are:

front - 20, 9.5, +27
back - 20, 10.5, +27

They didn't have custom offsets when we asked at autosalon.

Going to mod the stock air.  Just gotta buy some washers to move the sensors.  Should be able to get it pretty low.

i wouldn't do anything to a s55 AMG, but to each his own.
 atleast keep the stock exhaust if you do put the jp kit on... you should be able to get some cash if you sell the stock kit

Just a small update on what just came in...just waiting on tires.  Also did my suspension with the help of Mike.  I used some adjustable arms to move the sensors and the car sits pretty low now.

Had to replace the stock links with adjustable links which make the sensors alter the height.  The car can go way lower, but at this height full up you can barely get a jack underneath and Troy didn't want to worry about that.  It would only take me about 15mins total to alter all 4 corners and without removing the wheels.

Troy wanted a slight rake, which is why the front appears lower than the rear.

Yup they did.  Thanks again Grant!  Don't worry about the Lugs, tires won't be in for a few weeks.  Btw, any word yet on those L-tide headrests?  I probably need 2 sets.  1 for front and 1 for the back.

Well, I'm sure they must have one for the S-Class, but I know it couldn't have been close to the price he paid for just changing the links.  Kleemann is nice, but it's over priced..and that was for a used unit.  The capabilities of it are cool...but not at the price they sell it for..haha.

Wheels will hopefully be going on Tuesday.  Got tires but waiting on the LH lug-bolts to arrive.  If not I guess I can use the stock ones till they get here.

careful when you use the stock lugnuts, they may be too long & 'pop' out the e-brake springs. 
If it happens you will get a lovely noise in the rear. I had this happen on mine until I popped the springs back into place

benzo are my fav. hopefully when  leave this poop job and get a better one and finish my g50 the way i like i can step up or down to a s class haha, lol. e class amg as well

Aero is at customs.  Just waiting for the call to pick it up from my broker.  His tires are 225/30/20 and 245/30/20 on 9.5 / 10.5

Probably gonna be awhile.  elpresidente is getting the aero for his wife's benz painted and then his jag is going in for some paint and some crazy shit.  So it will be sometime till my car will see the paintshop.  But on the brighter side at least my car has AMG aero.:shrug:

Here is just a small update.  Just test fitting some parts.  Since this kit is for a non AMG car this is turning out to be more work then I expected...there are things like oil coolers and stuff in the way.

The fitment issues are minor for the most part..only one piece doesn't seem to fit right..but that's only the bonnet wing.  So it won't hold everything up.  Thanks for lunch today Troy!!

lookin real good, relocating a couple things shouldn't be an issue. i gotta ask one thing though. knowing that you were going to buy out the jp catalog why not jp wheels? don't get me wrong, the leons are awesome but i think i would have had to go jp for the sake of theme.

Hahaha...I'll let Troy answer, but I'll throw in my $0.02.  It's not a catalog car by any means..yes it has a plethora of JP parts...well, a hell of a lot, but JP will never go as aggressive with fitment or go for that much presence in the stance.  In the end it's Troy's car and those wheels were the biggest part of the car for him.  They are perfect on it...JP wheels just don't do it for many of us.

is that right mr. elite? last i checked jp wheels where up there with dh for most popular wheels. i mean, i like the leons better but if i was gonna do all that jp i would have talked myself into it.

Thanks for your 2 cents Mike and a lot of that is true.  Fitment was a big issue for me but more so the look of the wheels.  I really like full faced wheels and for me the the beils matched perfectly and flowed with the Mercedes styling.  In my opinion JP didn't have any wheels that matched my car.  I'm really into things that look clean, simple and not over done.   For example I don't think I would ever buy anything from Garson, it's just not my style.  All your input is appreciated :biggthumpup:

That's right...and I'll take any change I can get my hands on!  Hahahaha!  When I say many of us..I'm referring to Night Garage.  I think we've had 1 set of JP wheels in the family in the life of the crew and they weren't even on a vip car.

Ok here is an update on what I've been going through.  Apparently in 2003 the s-class got a new style of hood and grill along with the other face lift stuff like projector head lights, new tail lights and clear signals on the mirrors.  The aero I got is made for the 2002 or older models without the face lift.  GAY!!!  So when we fit the front bumper there was a huge gap between the grill and the bumper.  As shown below...

So what I had to do is buy a generic aftermarket front bumper for an 03+ s-class and mold the piece under the grill to the JP bumper.  I wasn't about to cut up my AMG bumper just to get that little piece under the grill.  It's funny how somethings appear to be simple and end up being a pain in the ass!  Pics of the just molded bumper below being worked on by one of the guys at the shop.

This is going to be a really great build. The Mercedes S class has always been one of my long time favorites. I cant wait to see how this one comes out. The color combination and all the accesories are going to come out perfect. The wheels fit real nice and I love the way you can slam the S on the stock air. I cant wait to see the finished product.

right now i actually wish i had an average S.  i have to buy all new 02 molding and sensors because the ones on my stock amg bumpers don't fit...:signdammit:  this build is getting to be way too expensive...

Reading comprehension pwnz.  Notice how the JP kit is being altered to adapt to the kouki W220.  It's not that it's an AMG...it's that the later models had a different bumper, bonnet set-up...as well as the moldings and sensors...front and rear.
