Bilstein OR KYB GR-2 Shock??
i have a UA kit on my ls400 right now with stock shocks thats about to go. the ride is starting to get real bouncy. was looking to get new struts. which one has better ride quality, harder

Probably the Bilsteins, as the KYB GR2's are just replacement shocks for stock specs. You could always go with Tein CS or SS too.

Go for the cheaper strut (guessing its the kyb) if your consistently riding low. Will be easier on your wallet when they blow. :)

go bilstein HD it has to different perches. so you can even make your car even lower. if your thinking about that. you can use the KYB GR2 with UAS hard core. i have bilstein with tanabe. feels a lil soft i think its because of the springs. but im going to set my shocks on the second perch to make it lower vip tuckedd

i have bilstein sport with uas and its nice and firm. the sport version is make for lowering and HD i believe is for stock height. correct me if i am wrong... but i dont know why HD is $10 more.

your correct they were supposed to be use for stock springs. they can only drop down 1inch more than that. the sports go lower since its a shorter stroke. i heard if you go more than 1inch drop on the bilstein it voids your warranty
