VIP Style Corolla?

Could the new 10thgen Corolla in black with moonroof, woodgrain and leather seats "look" Vip style when custom bagged, fitted with fat 19"s, camber adjustment, spoiler delete and LED 3rd brake light, motorized curtains and light green tint puddle lights, cool blue HID projectors, Lexus white #plate lights and maybe some TVs upfront and for the rear passengers?

Please don't mind the old man driving it...

The interior can have bisque or black/gray leather seats

And this is somewhat inspired by the Lexus' new gauges.

It's on non-VIP cars...

I saw a new XRS last night with chrome rims and I actually thought it was an IS250 at night but I got tricked when it got closer! (looks pretty good except it needs airbags! xD)

I clearly mentioned, could it "look" VIPstyle? I never mentioned it being a "true" VIPcar like the LS, President etc...

Anyway, the new Corolla 'could' be an alternative to peeps buying the IS250-350 and make it look "VIPstyle" if they're low on dough, and for those people who want to save the planet since it's a ULEV-II car and looks pretty close to the IS and Camry.

I'm lost here.... I thought there are the real VIPcars like the LS, GS400, Q, President, and other big-body FR V8+ cars from Nissan and Toyota, and there are the VIP"Style" cars like most K-cars, FF layout sedans like the Corolla and Camry, or other cars that are not fit to be real VIP???

I'm actually lost with the terms, can someone enlighten me on what to call the real VIP cars and the VIP (inspired, styled, looking, etc.) cars?

I had a 90 Corolla once and it corners sharp with the mods I have on it. I'm just asking this because my gramps will buy a new Corolla XLE or XRS and he hates the rims and likes the Fabulous profounds I showed him on a GS300 and he wants to have em on his Corolla, he also likes how it's low (the GS on the fabulous website) so he could enter easier with less effort, so he also wants to have an extreme drop...

I'm still finding a nice VIP starter I could find, which are LS, GS, and Qs.

What? lowering makes it easier with less effort to enter? you mean getting into the car? he won't have fun angling and dodging bumps and dips...maybe you should steer him towards and xA or xB...some sort of K-car. Not a corrolla. If he's got to worry about getting into a regular sedan, he's not gonna have fun with the ride of a slammed car....

Sooner or later there will be someone in my hometown do mods as per description above. And it most likely be 20" rims, not 19. =)

I have some dyslexia, but does the title say VIP "Style" corolla. Correct me if I am wrong. Unless this term is replaced with VIP "influenced" nowadays. This person shouldn't really be given a hard time when the right terminology is used.

I find it funny that an old man wants a lower car. Try getting air ride suspension for that, so he can raise the car to go up bumps and lower to get in/out easier.

i would suggest a new scion xd or xb. its a toyota, like the corolla, and you will have more support as far as aftermarket products. not much will be made for the corolla. plenty is already made for the scions.

i actually am looking into an older xb for making longer trips. it will be more simple though like what your gramps is wanting. stock kit, drop, wheels, ext. mods, and a snowboarding rack. my gf is going to HATE it soooo much. i hate the hassle of changing tires all the time on my GS

I'd pimp the Corolla compare to the Xb if that's the only choice. Pimpin the same car as your VIP neighbour, what's the fun in that?

I'd get a custom kit, wheels and what nots. Have it VIP inspired or Euro influenced with your own special touch to it... That's how it shud go.

the car is for gramps, so you have to remember down time for customs wont be likely. and getting replacement parts will need to be easy unless he learns to drive lowered very fast.

Get it done in stages then. Maybe have a spare bumper and do your customization on that. Once a while do a trial fit on the car, shouldn't be of much of a downtime I guess.

A proper lowered car preparation like skid plates and etc. Play with chassis height instead of fake lowering aeros. That shud minimise the chances of needing cosmetic replacement parts.

But yea, it's not easy for 'seasoned' drivers to adapt driving low.

But like I said, have it VIP/EXE/Euro inspired/influenced. Should come out a clean car and that's good.

Okay.

STOP calling everything Vip styled.

I'll probably say this in every thread like this, but apparently it still needs to be said.

Vip styled is not an excuse to call every single ****ing car Vip.

Vip is just a word, and it happens to not apply to Corollas, MR2s, WRXs and my neighbour's F150.

Feel free to ask for advice on how we think a sick Corolla would be built though.
