Do you have a Hood Mascot?

Has it ever been stolen? I know alot of the Cima guys have them and there is a few Garson ones floating around. Has anyone ever had theirs stolen? I REALLY want to rock the type 4 JP mascot but if they get stolen often i'll pass. Is this unwarranted paranoia or does that stuff happen?

I do and that was my biggest fear about them because of the old mercedees ones back in the day but now it's like part of the game! Shit is gonna happen and if it does there's not much you can do then buy a new one! Jus gotta hope they don't jack the hole and/or hood up that you have to drill in....

..ganked right in front of the entrance to a titty bar. :shrug:  AND THEN fabulous stopped making them too :saiyancrunks:  id recommend a stick on type if the price is right. it cost almost a grand for a new hood, while a stick on emblem cost around 100-200. i like the JP ones but its soo overpriced for a piece of chromed plastic. at least the jdm cima emblem is held down by a spring loaded cable. idk its all on preference. if you think the areas you leave your car are that sketch i wouldnt get one if it worries u.

Never had it stolen.  Mine is drilled in the hood.  It is a fear of mine too but im more scared of people trying to steal my headlights (trying because 13 bolts hold the lights, good luck taking them) and potentially damaging the hood and fenders.

when my aircap get stole i just charge it to the game & besides ish happens, it's the world we live in.

Difference is that painting a pearl colored hood is $1k.  If they bend an aluminum hood, you need to buy a new one.  You could spend $2g's all for alittle mascott

I have a jp one I got for a steal ($80) Ive caught someone touching it but no ones been stupid enough to try and steal it yet...

I don't think people want a big kitty.  Mine hasn't been stolen...

i have a new unique mascot for my project (undisclosed for now since i'd prefer the flaming to happen AFTER i show it hahahha) and I worry only because of the flashiness of it and well cuz karma is a bitch!!!! I bitch-palmed a few back in the day and I have a feeling that I have hell to pay for it hahahahahaha but like everyone is saying....

Either way you would need a new hood on the F50.  The aluminum is thin and shops dont repair aluminum.

i meant just using double sided tape (JP style,garson etc) so when people jack your shit it comes off fairly clean instead of leaving an embossed dinger where they tore it out.
i know what u mean about the aluminum hood though. i wanted euro hood vents  but most shops said f*ck that.
