so, whats out there?
im gonna buy a set in a few weeks
tein's website lists nothing and their jap site lists nothing for an actual cima
not interested in coilovers
ive been looking, but there doesnt seem to be shit
special order from japland wouldnt bother me, i just cant find anything.
looking for ~2" drop

i think there are others on here who arent hardcore VIP too
i do like the platforms, wheels, the subtlety used in modifying etc.
i think the fusas are just plain stupid etc
people are free to do what they want and i like aton of the cars on here.
i guess mine will be half steppin in peoples opinion here
i'm doing springs, wheels, modifying headlights, LEDing the tails, cima grill on the way already, and light tint.

i also enjoy seeing people's cars on dubs with bags, but that's not for me. i drive. in the northeast.

I thought you were asking about what springs are available for your car at first......WTF trumped all of this???
 
You've got a lot to learn about this styling of car modification before you go out and say things like that. There are reasons behind the camber and the tire stretching. Didn't start out because it was something that looked "cool" to somebody. Maybe you are on the wrong type of forum.

i was speaking to FLSs comments. i've got little to learn. i get wheel fitment. i just dont want it that aggressive/tacky

I think faulk just sold out of his teins but he'd be the best bet.... try to find some KYB SR's to install while your in there and you should be set for quite a while.

If you decide you want coilovers instead, I've got a set of the insurance coilovers in the FS section that I'd love to sell you, or anybody.

Just a thought,
You might want to look into a set of S14 Tanabe DF210 springs.
They'll give you a drop of about 3".

Of course, these should be run with a set of struts like the KYB SR Specials because you will easily blow the OEM struts.

Camber and stretched tires are for better fitment and flushness.

There is really nothing functional about VIP...F.L.S. you know this or should know this..YOU want a style and want it functional cool...and I am not arguing that VIP is functional cuz well really its not..its all for looks and fitment...you either widebody it or camber the hell out of it. Strech tires have been around along time and it may not be the best idea it sure looks sweet as hell especially on a VIP car rather than some beefey a$$ tires...THere is a look that most of us like about VIP cars mostly the ones in the mags cuz I dont think to many of us have been to japan except a  handfull..so We all look at magazines and I know that the ones that most of us drool on are the ones slammed with wide wheels streched out tires and crzy offsets and perfect fitment...I think those are the ones ones that make most people say damn I want my car to look like that. The argument about the drop..is done...get over it..nobody really cares how low you are or not so dont bring it up anymore..all that is showing is that you strive for approval....dont call out your flaws...
 
YOu like to drive fast and hit corners and into formula 1 racing then make your Q a race car it all ready has theright size  tires...I keep thinking to myself why does this guy hang out here when he hates most of the Q's of VIP:shrug: ...

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, you're right, 90% of VIP is for looks, and that's 100% cool with me.  AND, I also think it does look cool =)
