Q45 Y33 rear emblem removal
Is there a different way to remove the infiniti logo if its on the spoiler? (my car is the touring model) Is the emblem drilled to the rear spoiler or just stuck there with glue?

it actually has two tabs on the emblem that will leave 2 holes in your spoiler..and if it is the an older Q such as a 97 you will probably crack the paint when removing...I did and had to have my spoiler repainted...

I'm having a hard time taking off the adhesive tape. I spent the last 45 minutes with goo gone and nothing is budging. Any other way to move the stuff off faster?

Meguiar's ScratchX might get rid of that gunk. If not, try going with some polish.

-park your car in the sunlight
-squirt all down the emblems
-wait about 5 minutes
-get a ribbon string, then slide it down to cut it.
-after emblem is off, use the goo gone to rub out the excessive gunk.
-after gunk is off, use rubbing compound to remove the black spots.

3M makes a kick ass Adhesive and Wax Remover.....Try Walmart in the Automotive section....It has to be the 3M brand... "3M Adhesive and Wax Remover"
It's safe for paint too......unlike goof-off which is damn near paint thinner.
I use it all the time and it blows goo gone away!
Also to get the large chunks off, get some plastic razor blades and soak it down with the 3M then hit it with the plastic blades, then just wipe a couple of times with the 3M and a towel....
Be sure to always use a clean spot on the towel....otherwise it will keep spreading it around.
