oh yeah guys, im trying to convince him to spray the lowers dark gray/gunmetal for that old school gangsta look... he wants to spray it black.... help him choose....

Since the car is already tinted, I say all black. And add Hood Mascot and JP Tails which is a pretty penny.

I like the two tone look but all black just looks cleaner in this case. I also vote to lose the eyelids. It's gonna look awesome once the kit is painted.

you guys gotta be kidding me...look at the overall theme of the car...do you really think black/gray are gonna do wonder for his car? maybe if he DID NOT have the chrome door handles, chrome pillars, stainless exhaust sticking out of the bumper, r/c tails, led mirrors, and CHROME rims i'd say either one will look good...
 
but the fact that he does have all those things...makes me say black/black hands down...

the gray doesn't go with chrome as much black...if his rims were pretty much any other finish, it wouldn't really matter (although i would still vote black)...
 
yes, there's been a blk/blk 1st gen ls done in hawaii but it wasn't done right...the kit fit like shit, the body work was second class but it looked nice nonetheless...this guy has the opportunity to do a perfect blk/blk jp ls that's done right with the right prep work...
 
if he didn't give a shit about the waves in his kit, then i'd tell him to paint them gray so hide some of the body work especially on the door caps and side skirts...but this guy is going to great lenghts to fit this kit perfectly and i believe the best outcome will be all black with the chrome accents...

that car belonged to a guy named danny (i believe)...he used to live out here in hawaii but moved to so cal...his car was dope but like i said, it pulls off the gray because of the absent chrome accents...

this car has tons of potential for greatness. dont ruin that with allover black, or even gray/black. continue the trend of quality here and respray the whole car, dark green, burgundy, or midnight blue flake. be on the curve, not back in black.

He's not going to repaint the car a whole different color...he already went through the hassle of spraying all the jambs and engine bay already...

Hahaha...why the two tone in the first place?  Because JP did it?  Man...I'd like to know the thought process of some people.  To me, I never liked the two tone to begin with.  All black is going to be sick...can't wait to see it painted!!

UCF... in the pics you posted of that UCF20, it has the chrome trim still on the car.

I personally love how the two-tone looks on these cars so I'm going to have to say keep it two tone with the gunmetal bottom and black top
