while looking at the Equips, a seller online posted these as equips, but they look slightly different. so i asked him about it and he said these are "Rays Sebring Zeiger 5" and that they look just like the equips. i mean there not equips, but u cant go wrong with rays as well.
does anyone know about these wheels? i cant find any info or pics on them anywhere online at all.

IMO you should find a working offset all around, no need to stagger.

Because...
1) VIP is about aesthetics, not mechanics.
2) a bigger lip in the rear is better than running spacers.
3) stagger wasn't invented for rwd guys.
4) ...wait, are you sure you shouldn't be in VIP101?

My bad, i didn't realize asking the question "why would you put staggered wheels on a FWD" require me to be in VIP101. The first thing to be consider VIP is to have a platform car and i don't recall any being FWD.
A bigger lip is better but does not require a stagger set up to achieve it. That's why there's custom offsets.
To the OP, nothing against FWD and what you wish to do with your but you should atleast get 18" .... 17" seems to be stock size ( at least for the type S)

no offense taken, i know my car is not vip nor will it ever be. im just tuning it up a little until next year when i pick up a F50 Q45.
i do currently have 18's on my car and they are nice, but i wanna go as low as possible once i have my air suspension in. plus the 18's i have, the offset is way too aggressive. check out my new thread. lol

Yo man, your doing the right things, which consist of asking questions. I believe we all do the best we can and w/ what we got. Sometimes peeps just forget about the ride that got them to where they currently are, which i'm sure may not have been VIP or styled in the fashion. My advice, money aside (because it takes more then that to put a clean ride together IMO), Find a pic of a hooked up car you like, cut it out and post it up and don't settle or stray, just go for it! As far as prices go, there are hook-ups all over this site.....GL

Same width but lower offset in the rear is still staggered track, just not widths.
The way I see it, if you can fit a wider wheel and performance isn't an issue, might as well, it does look better.
oh and vzupt, my car is a Protege... different names in different places but available worldwide.
