If VH1 had a worse week ever.........

So Last Thursday I get to work no problem. Go out to start the car during lunch and no turn over just solenoid clicking. "Great starter finally went out. there goes another $200 in repairs. Get to my buddies shop have them order me a starter and a replacement tire. $$$.
Finally get back to the car and after calling a few tow companies and what not no one will come get the car because IT'S TOO LOW. So I decide well I'll have to change the starter in the parking lot at work. 1 hour and half later. Ok ready to test her out. Still no turn over just solenoid clicking. "WTF!?!?" Come back next day after losing the battle and tow the car to the shop. (Fun with tow straps) Get it to the shop and start testing voltage, after about an hour determine the starter is not getting voltage for some reason. So decided start by cleaning the positive terminal as it looks pretty dirty. Cleaned replaced terminal damn car turns over in the first shot. :runcoold:

Ok well problem solved.......not done yet.
Get out that saturday to take the wife and kid to the mall. Oh my tire is low on air that's strange. Fill it up and go about my business. Come back tuesday and see it's low again. Looks like these need to be replaced. $$$. Wednesday (Yesterday) I need to go to immigration to make sure my wifes paper work is all in order before we mail it off to immigration. Well (Tucson being built for truck lovers) immigration has this huge bump that normally i pay attention to but b/c i have had a shitty week and the bumper and front wheels are off the car"riding stock" I didn't think I would have problems with the bump. Well the bump actually had an impact on the car. "That's weird usually it's not so bad, maybe cause the stock wheels are on the car sits lower" Do my thing at immigration and go back to work. 11:30a have lunch by 4:00p I get approached by scurity. "Fuck what is wrong now?" Security says "Your car is leaking oil from the front, did you know?" "WTF?!?!?!?!" Go out and sure enough looks like someone poured oil in front of my car. Look under the car since the bumper is off. (getting fixed again) I can see oil dripping from my oil pan. The plug looks ok and see it isn't coming from the plug but from the front corner......"Shit must have happened when I hit the buttsexing bump at immigration":saiyancrunks:

Long post over, Please let me have a wonderful weekend......

DAMN! Family sorry to hear that!!!!
But like Kanye West says, won't doesn't kill you will only make you stronger!
Sometimes we get knocked down hard in life but the outcome sooner or later is always greater!!!

*Also check to see if your altenator is still good! A common problem w/ Q45s/Y33 & G50 is they'll get leaking valve cover gasket (I currently am having this issue!) It causes oil to leak on to your altenator and soak it, making it hard to charge your battery. Also in could weather will cause light smoke to come from your engine along w/ the burning smell of oil! It won't overheat your engine and you can drive w/ it! Usally happens over 100K miles........

Hope everything gets better for you bra.!

Well I took a half day and had my friend weld the crack but when he did so, he tried to re-enforce the weld and made a bigger hole. I guess the steel is thinner than he expected. So spent my whole day sitting at the shop since this was a favor for me and he had to do customer while working on my car. Took a half day to get paper work done and did absolutely nothing. :(
But the car seems to back to normal and not leaking anymore, great to have knowledgeable friends in different walks of life.

I would have raised the car up more but I can't I am already maxed out. (O_O) We are think about using s14 perch's from Meagan Racing since the perch is longer on a S14 rear than the Z32 rear but the Z32 maybe bigger in Diameter, I am not sure.
Anyway hopefully my tires will be in this weekend and I will have my backup mobile running.
Thanks for supportive words fellas.

Pancakes<
I have already done the valve cover gaskets. was like the first thing I did when I got the car. Have fun with that though, took me like 12 hours to do both sides. But I had allot of interruptions. Make sure get the Spark Plugs while your in there. So glad I don't have to worry about mine since I did that too. Funny thing is probably changing the belts and the starter were probably the easiest 2 thing to do on the car.

Doubt it, truck loving city will never cater to low or slightly lower than normal vehicles.
So far so good, still waiting to get my tire done. Been waiting 2 1/2 weeks and after 2 weeks I have my buddies shop call them to find out where are my tires they say "we shipped them they should be there" So we tells them to go and check to be sure, "Hmm we can't find a tracking number let me check in the back" few minutes later "Yeah I'm sorry they were set aside for shipping but never went out." Figures......
So they got here yesterday.

ordered on like.....2/27th arrived 3/10
