How cheap is Hereborrani you ask?

We just got a set of Hereborrani wheels rebranded as our house brand in stock. Not a model listed on the Cosmic site, but one of the spokes is stamped with the unmistakeable "Hereborrani".

Funny thing is I was trying to sell a set of 17s for $150 a piece. I'd even sell these 18x7.5 for under $200 a piece. Ballin'! =)

They're a good looking wheel though, seems to be decent quality for the price. Paint is smooth and glossy, and the barrel is nicely finished.

People often ask about MRR whose lineup is mostly rebadged Cosmic wheels. There is some slight debate about just how Vip Car worthy they are due to their cheap one-piece cast origins. I just thought I'd shed some light on the issue some more.

Carlsson came to mind when I saw the photo but they're a bit different in person.

Those Club Lineas are nice, they look like a +1 version of the Hereborranis.

man i dont care what anybody says about mrr/cosmic. it is a nice quality cast wheel. and if it takes being in a vip car mag to be vip, then they are vip. i'm still undecided on whether i'll actually use mine though.

I didn't post that because I'm for or against them. Just figured it might interesting.

Like I said though, this isn't a current Cosmic wheel afaik.

Says "Hereborrani" right on it.

Does this perhaps mean Lxry Hanes and Cosmic are related?

i've kind of assumed that for a while, which would explain mrr using both cosmic and lxry hanes in their hereborrani line but their websites don't overlap at all.

yup they probably are not in japan,

but the build house's probably are, and since MRR has very close ties with buildhouse, chances are we will be seeing new mrr wheels very soon. I hope so.

but regardless, they are very nice wheels. I love the new MRR HR6 with the black windows. I wouldn't mind rocking them for my ls430 in the near future.

cosmic used to make the hr3 in 19", although mrr didn't import them and the style is no longer on comsmic's site at all. i will be trying to locate a 19" hr3 as soon as i get rid of these hr2.

*edit - correction, they made 18"... ugh

yeah the hr3s in 19s is sick but for one piece ithink the Sherlock's LXry looks more aggressive, sporty and cleaner. plus the hr3 only goes 9 inches wide while the Sherlock's goes 9.5 which will have a more aggresive concave look at the rears.

well the 20" goes 9.5". i'm going to wait and see what size i need after my fenderwork and suspension are done, but i'm 90% that it will be a 19". the sherlocks are nice, and those are second on my list (today anyway) but the hr3 is just a little cleaner imo. i dunno, i'm tired of thinking about it... i just want my s**t to be done.
