I have a 91 LS 400, and i need to replace my valve cover gasket. My local shop quoted me $750 parts and labor, does that right to you guys?

If you're not experienced, leave it to the pros. Valve covers on old American V8's is a 40 minute job, but you have to take half the stuff off the top of these modern Japanese V8's just to GET to the valve covers. It depends on how motivated and how much time you want to spend. I recently had mine done by my master Infiniti tech, he charged me like 300 and dealer is like what you quoted.

yea its such a hard job because they have to take the intake plenum off to reach the valve cover gaskets...same with the g50 q45.
