dang, that is so messed up but I have to admit I laughed out loud.

I know it'd be the same feeling if my parents pretended to get me a power rangers toy when I was little and it was a shirt inside...eff'd up.

I dont think thats funny at all to play with a kids feelings like that.  I will say though its hard to judge the situation because my rents have done that back in the day but they were just playing with me (like wrapping the nintendo in clothes and giving me the box full of nails.)  If they seriously just ridiculed that poor guy in front of his whole fam on xmas morning I would question thier ability to parent at all. my 2 cents.
