Can I get my VSC Brothers' Opinions on some Wheels?

I currently have 19" Club Linea Barlettas on my car. I love them, but am getting a little bored. I plan on putting a BBK on my car, and am worried that the full-faced look of the wheel will drown them out.

Someone on my local Mercedes board is selling some staggered 19" Dronells, so I figured I would put one on and see how it looks. What's your opinion? Do you like them? Keep in mind much larger brakes will be going behind them. Thanks for the insight fellas!

they look a little too sporty for your car, i love your club lineas! keep em! BTW are the lips polished and then clearcoated? or are they straight polished with no clear coat.

i say they're pretty sporty and very euro looking. i do like them, but i think your current wheels work a lot better.

Yeah i think they look a lil to racy for the 202.  I think the ones you have on there now are bananas.  But yeah like wide body said, its your call.

Unless you go BB kit.

ya too racy, your C class looks best with some of flat dish for sure. But good think your changing out your barletta's. 

and that dronell style has been cloned too many times by knock off companies, add that with zero lip and you got yourself a regret in the making.

My thing is I am trying to find some wheels that will show a little big brake, but still look classy. I can pick these babies up for $400, which is why I am very tempted...

The Lineas or the Dronells?

I am asuming you are speaking about the Dronells, in which case they are clearcoated polished. If I bought them, I'd probably redo them with a chrome lip and polished face

to be honest, they dont look one bit VIP.

the wheels you currently have are 10 times better imo

I like the Dronells better than the Lineas =)

They make 5 plain spoke look very good

VIP or not,for $400 i would buy them.

I like the idea of barely being able to see the big brake kit....as long as you can see at least a part of it still that is.  Then it would be a subtle teaser of whats behind.  

I also like that idea, because only those that have attention to detail will really notice.

Price is great and they are better than the Lineas.  

You may be better off saving until you can get the wheels you really want.

Are the rear wheels gonna have any more lip than the front?400 ishard to beat

i hate to say this but the 3rd picture you posted with the Dronells looks like a bagged Ford Ranger.......  I'd definitely stay with the lineas they look perfect on your ride:biggthumpup:

Aww Dronell is like my all time fav rims back when I was in high school hahaha.. I say for $400, get it man, plus It looks good in your car if you want to show off BBK

no offense but the lineas are ugly...definitely dronells...

+2, for $400 that sounds like a deal (you can switch up whenever). Someone mentioned that they look too euro, is'nt your car euro anywayz? I also understand the BBK thing, I would only go w/ spoke if I had BBK! (have BBK but perfer dish) Otherwise, you got a little thing floating around in there. GL w/ your choice!

Man, if your having mixed fleelings about it just do a 50/50.

One side Dronells, the other side with the Lineas.

The wheels are a good deal, but I would end up spending a lot of money refinishing them. I am an extreme perfectionist :pat:
