Improper etiquette?
Maybe this has been discussed before but I didn't search. How does the vip community feel about mixing brands? Such as dong a Wald kit but also have Junction Produce accessories. Would that be a slap in the face to Junction? To me it doesn't seem like a big deal but I know some of you guys follow a very strict set of rules :thelaw:

It's even harder when your wheels are Junction Produce. I feel like any kit other than JP will not match. But I agree with augdogg, if it's clean it's all good.

Use your own personal judgement. Its your car, build it for yourself not for the forum.
Just dont put Junction produce badges or stickers on your ride if your dont have anything Junction Produce on the exterior

In this case Name brand doesn't matter as long as it flows!
I was thinkin about getting a K-break front to go w/ my aimgain kit!
(Lines are pretty close! )

Doesn't make a lick of difference.
Maybe because my car draws from a hodge podge of styles, and therefore is a hodge podge of parts, but in the end, as long as the finished result is satisfying, that's all that'll matter.

I just don't mis matching body kit parts...such as aimgain front with insuranse sides and JP rear. I feel that bodykits should always match all the way around...wing and bonnet and mascots and grill do whatever you want.

No, it makes your build unique.

Why not? I don't think there is a rule or something that forbid you to mix those brands. You are building your car, not those brand demo car.

Honestly it's tough not to. On the Jag I have Auto Couture aero, Mina Gallery roof and rear wings, Mina Gallery exhaust, Leon Hardiritt wheels, Jp accessories, it's a melting pot of parts. The Benz isn't much different just mixed Auto Couture with Lorinser, AMG, and Crimson...with Garson accessories.

mix and matching is good. Mix and match the right way and your ahead of the curve because it's a deeper reflection of your choices in how you match. Your "off the shelf" kit becomes a bit more customized as you are actually changing the body lines of the car. Not everyone can pull it off as it would confuse the heck out of them.
there's a y33 with Ac front bumper, wald skirts and impul rear bumpers that went together very well. I mix and match Zauber sideskirts with my JDM AC style bumpers. I have the Zauber royal effect front bumper, rear bumper and trunk spoiler sitting at my storage but I choose to mix and match.
you want to at least make sure the lines meet up as if they were coming out of the nissan-toyota factory that way. You want to make sure they all share the same amount of "conservative" style or "aggressive" style.
the problem with mix and matching is that some people who don't know any better, will go out and get a Stillen lip, bomex side skirts, and a job design rear bumper (y33) =)
