So I wake up this morning, rudely with a call from my father. 

Pop: "You got a dead rabbit on your car."

Me: "wtf, I'll go check it out..."

So I go outside to see this:

This is the second time something like this has happened. Over the span of like 3-4 years.

It had to have been planned, as I got home from work at ~3am, and it was discovered at ~7:30am. Totally placed on the car. First time it happened, it was an owl. The owl, we thought may have landed on a light post, and just croaked. I had been parked under the light at the time. Now I think someone is fucking with me. I have no idea who though. 

It's too bad someone didn't just bash my hood in or key my car up so I could get some use out of it. Maybe next time they will.

Plans are to either start parking in the garage, Though I don't want to as I tend to have a dog that likes to run around and probably scratch up the car, or to put a security camera in front of the house. 

Anybody have any good recommendations for the camera? 

This is some petty shit, and not cool at all.

I didn't look at the pics but that sucks .. I can think of how nasty that shit is 

Imagine living in front of a school with skateboarders always having the police called n them by neighbors ..  ... I have had 3 cars in a row with the hoods stomped on 2 times different occasions  ... I had a bat and ran across the school and was searching for them at 3 am one time ... couldn't find them ... 

I park in the garage for the Lex .. my other 2 are on the street .. bmw and miata ... I have a gaymass tree that leaks these little fruit that get on the car .. so i feel your pain .. 

We have 7 cars at our house at all times .. .

Honestly...it does suck, but I wouldn't be too upset about it.  I'd personally rather have the rabbit on the windshield/wiper area, then an area dented in or scratched up.  The rabbit is easy to remove...the others aren't.  Fortunately he wasn't all mangled up and in one piece..so it's not gross per say..just a dead rabbit.  I'm not saying it's gay for them to do it..because it is, but I don't think it's as bad as what it could have been.

True. It's the fact that it's been done though, that makes me more mad. The fact that someone either has beef with me, or is a really immature kid and thinks he's cool, has done this shit. If you got beef then come handle it. If you think you're being funny, don't fuck with me. Stuff like this doesn't need to happen. It's animal cruelty in a way.

costco has a kit that goes for something like $700.  u get 3 or 4 cameras that are mic'd and have night vision and hook up to a dvr and can be connected to any tv.  has something like 500 hours on the dvr and comes in real handy.

I had a friend who has a shelf where she placed plants on it in front of her house.  Within the many pots of plants, she has an empty 2 liter bottle with a security camera inside.  The camera itself is hidden behing the label (she tore out a small round circle within the label for the lens of the camera) the wire ran out of the bottle and can easily be hidden.  besides, even if the wire was visible, the camera isn't...at least not from the driveway/street =o)

oh yeah, my suggestion is a camera.

I work 4pm-12am, and go to school in the mornings. The only person I hang out with besides close friends, is my girlfriend, of 3 years. If I have enemies, I don't know it, because I haven't been able to sit there and piss off anybody. 
 
 
On the flip side, someone did kind of go out of their way to do this. But really, if it was a warning, don't you think they would have grabbed a fresh rabbit? Cut it's head off, or at least bloody up the car a bit? It was just lain there on the hood, not smashed in or anything.
