black roof?

what do you guys think about white cars, or any car color other than black, with a black roof for VIP cars?

im gonna go for it since im sponsored for it and you can remove the vinly if i dont like it anymore.

but you guys think this is fine in the game?

I think its a good look for sporty cars. Its cool that they do it in vinyl tho :biggthumpup:

It's becoming more of a trend in Japan from what I see in the mags....

to answer your question pancakes.

a lot of new cars now come with an option black roof because of the panoramic roof feature. obviously i dont have a moonroof like that, but i still really like the style.

someone correct me if im wrong, but i think all lexus have the option. all mercedes have the option, i have yet to see it on a bmw but i know audi's have them. also scion TC's have them. there are many other cars out there with them too. including ford.

^Get some vinyal and see for yourself.  Cheaper then getting it painted and then not liking it

My friend did his white GS's roof and dat ish looked so hot!!! i say go for it but do the vinyl so if and when you get tired of it just pull it off, buff the roof & keep it moving.

The honda-tech kids have been doing it for a grip now. I have always liked it. As for dygo, I think it still would look good.

I think it looks alittle weird without the hood and trunk being done as well.

I don't think brown with black roof looks very good. Idea of black roof is to have some contrast

btw, if anyone has seen these vinyls in person, it looks OEM and really glossy like if it were glass.

id say it looks good on a light colored car.like white or silver.and it should have dark tints.heres a video of a white GS300 with a black roof.

It's hard to believe it's been two years since my GS was painted...

I did this on the roof, only in Nighthawk Black (midnight blue) with blue flake.

Very subtle on a medium-coloerd car.
