It's one of those locking bars that hook up to your steering wheel. anyone still use it ? I still use it, even at work. do u guys think it's a good theft deterrent ?

I have never used anything like that ... or anything other than an alarm ... Jp better make one to accent the car ;)
After seeing my wheel cut in half on my last car, I concluded they're a total waste of time. Takes less than 20 seconds to hack-saw through the wheel and yank it off. They can't steal a Q anyhow, it won't start w/o the key which has a chip in it. They can take stuff, but not the car.

This thread made me laugh cause my dad has a 4Runner and he straight perps the hell out of the Club because he lost the key!

I have one, but I don't use it. My car is not a good candidate for being stolen because it's slow as fuck, would attract attention if speeding, and usually people around here like to smash and grab, so I'll still get broken windows and popped door locks.
I use the brake pedal club, which I think is better then the one on the steering wheel.

Used to use the clutch lock, but, why bother? if they are going to take it they will. I've got insurance, I'm not worried.

Yeah. If you look at your key, there's a small square near the base of the plastic where the metal comes out, that's a chip. Every time you start and stop your car, it generates a new code and if the codes don't match, it won't start.
Which is also why the key cost around 3 bills to get! Best security: 1. Lay the car down 2. Hope that you have good insurance 3. Live by the code "I wish a motha F*** would touch my shit!" :biggthumpup:

I know fools that will try to jack yo shiat just because your using a club. Its like a game to them..WANNA PLAY...PLAY BALL...sad but true.
Have one but too lazy to put it on. Lost the key now, but the thing is still in the car...
Any little thing helps!!! I just wonder how many times the club has detered a thief!! If only it could talk!! I still use mine because it also makes it harder to get the airbag off! Maybe a few seconds to cut the steering wheel but every second helps!!! I use the alarm ( w/ 154 dbl train horns hooked up ), CLUB , GLOCK, and a lockable car cover ( out of sight, out of mind ). If they want it bad enough they'll get it!! Just remember!! Every little thing you do to make your car safe is gonna make it take a little longer , and that helps!!!
I won't lie to ya, but if I drove a Honda/Acura i'd definatly use something...
LoL i used to carry one, but not for preventing theft... I had it in my door pocket as something to use as self defence in cases of road rage!
I use the autoloc brake pedal thing it's like the club.
