It's not THAT bad,   the rims LOOK fake so those need to go, the cut springs is ghetto no matter what kind of ride its, even busted Hondas.....  the grill looks good (sell it to me) and the V8 badges are from a Benz.....which is where a ton of JDM VIP guys get their ish from so it's not bad, just not my style.  You need a quality suspension on this, and as stated, I don't like the wheels, but its not all bad.  Just clean it up and tighten it down and you'll be fine.

On a side note, I don't even like this style wheel when it is genuine, but even less when it looks fake and is fake.

The first thing I notice is the distinct line around the outer part just inside the lip and they don't have that on the original.  But like I said before, I don't even like the originals.  I drove Andruw Jones C55 AMG with those on it and I didn't like em then, even when they were the originals on some famous guys car.....

but I understand cheap and free, thats why I'm rockin the 350Z wheels on mine.

Lots of valid points. I think that in my eyes I am starting to change the way I look at VIP...This is the most hardest car tuning I have yet known. I admit I have been anal about a lot of things in the past but as I start to take a step back I think that LOTS of folks are just taking this way to serious now. I meen fools that don't even have VIP platforms or fools that don't even have cars to fix up are so stuck on little things that at the end of the day really does not matter one bit. We are all on a VIP STYLE FORUM and I don't think I or most will ever meet any of each other. So why try to be excepted or impress online Jokers. I meen at least this dude is being honest..The one thing I have a problem but not really a big deal is that he is using a real name brand center caps on knock off wheels..IF he was real about that then I really could care less about how and what he does.
 
Lots of folks have been on here for years and have nothing to show for it. Lots have been on for months and have a lot to show for it..Some are into to showing their cars and some not.  The more I stay away from the boards the more I realize that there are more important things in life than impressing internet folk and modding a car. I have a house to invest in children and two businesses to run. Things that I actually gain a return on an investment. VIP is a money pit and if you like it cool if you cant afford it cool if you are on a budget cool...
 
Boosty you will soon find out that it is hard to accomplish what you want with your car when you will be working for only summer jobs. I can guarantee your bros car will not be where you want it by only working in the summer..which means possibly 5 more summers and then if you go to college well even longer. NO offense but put things into reality.
 
VIP surely is not for everyone however if certain folks do not care about the RULES and Criteria so be it, its there life..I don't think he is messing up the culture as it is not are culture to mess up and HOW MANY OF US ARE FROM JAPAN OR EVEN BEEN TO JAPAN??

300c's look cheesy.  Fake leather and fake wood is not cool.  Atleast not for a modern car thats considered a "luxury" car.  Atleast do a Cadillac in vip style.  They could easily pull it off (excluding the catera and the cts).

i just got the wheels because i think they look 'ok' and it was like 350 for the wheels, 150 for adapters, about 500 for tires. about 1k said and done for a 19 inch wheel setup with close to zero offset and good tires. how you gonna argue with that. 

sure i could save up for something better but im not going to have any trouble flipping this setup in the future when i have more cash. and why bother buying good wheels when im gonna be rolling on drop springs. (gonna get teins or something in a month or 2) As i said, just had the springs lying around and its free and rides/looks pretty good for what it is.

What im saying is that the car is a 5k car but its still a luxury car.  Dont compare it to a civic.  Plus wheels are interchangeable.  You could put them on another car when your done or even sell them since high quality wheels hold their value very well

The reason why senior members get upset with mostly newer crowd on this board is because a lot of us have spent time and money on modifying our cars the certain way using parts purchased specifically for the car we currenly have with a specific final vision at hand. Now that VIP is taking off, there's a huge inflow of people who are moving from the last craze (drifting), and all they are doing is taking parts off their 240 and slapping them onto a Q (the cheapest of the VIP platforms) or an LS and ***** it off on the forum asking for props and calling it VIP...while at the end of the day all it is is a Q with 240sx parts on it that belong on 240 and not a luxury car.

Mercer...the above WAS NOT directed toward you...once again it was a general statement made about many cars on this board. This is also once of the reasons why I got rid of my Q before VIP scene got riced out and modified to something I didn't want to be a part of.
